Jesus does not say "rebuke" the enemy or Satan, but to make "peace" with your enemies and even make or cause (not make or force) them to "serve" you... (Proverbs 16:7)

To "resist" him, yes, (James 4:7) (and submit yourself to God) but, not "rebuke" him... (or bring railing accusations against him) (Jude 1:9)...

You cannot beat or defeat or cause the enemy to submit to you, using his own ways, tools or weapons...

Dangerous ground, I know, (many of you will say)...

I'm not suggesting making "deals" with him, or "compromising with him" at all, but stand your ground in "true righteousness" (with him) and he will be forced to submit to you... To serve you...

Do not be afraid of him (I know many of you are) (and I do have some measure of compassion on that) but, you must take courage and not be afraid of him... If he is in your life, it is an opportunity in disguise, if you handle it right, in "true righteousness"...

Your not to submit to him, but neither are you to "elevate" yourself in response to him either...

Fear of him is one way of submitting to him... Many handle it and him way wrong due to fear...

Don't give him any invitations, but do not try to drive him out by or with force, especially in your own strength either...

I'll try to get back with more later...

God Bless!

I have to say this post should come with a "warning label" as it is not for the weak, or timid...

But is for those having some real struggles with the enemy, and need, NEED "victory" over him, and need it now...

I'll get back with more later...

God Bless!

But those who rebuke the wicked will have delight,
And a good blessing will come upon them.
• Proverbs 24:25

Here's what Paul told a Sorcerer:

Then Saul, who also is called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked intently at him and said, “O full of all deceit and all fraud, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease perverting the straight ways of the Lord? And now, indeed, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a time.”
• Acts 13:9-11

Here's what Yahushua Messiah told wicked people :

Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers’ guilt. Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell?
• Matthew 23:32-33

Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
• Matthew 12:34

Here's what Peter said to a Sorcerer:

But Peter said to him, “Your money perish with you, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money! You have neither part nor portion in this matter, for your heart is not right in the sight of God. Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you. For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity.”

I speak from experience, and rebuking him (in the wrong way, which is most of us) does not work and fails...

And any "delight" you will get from rebuking him/them will be empty... You will end up feeling just as empty as him (the enemy)...

Do not glory (delight) in the (wicked) (spirits) being made subject to you, in my (Jesus) name... (Luke 10:17-20) (Luke 10:20 mainly) (Jesus words)...

I'm not, NOT suggesting "buddying up to him" or making him your "best friend" But overcoming him with peace... And causing him to submit with and by peace...

I know it's tricky, I know it's scary, but as I said, this is for those having real problems and real troubles with the enemy, and none of the classic ways they have been told, are working...

God Bless!

Saying "Get behind me, Satan!" is a rebuke. That is what Jesus did, and we are told to walk like Him.

Jesus didn't even let them speak, and neither should we. Mark 1:34

If you get an evil spirit to serve you in any way, that is sorcery, and you are doing so in the power of satan. Just tell them to leave, and they will leave. Or submit to God, or they will flee. Interracting with them in any other way is submitting to them, because then you are using evil spirits for your own purposes, which is sorcery. You are per definition entering into an agreement with them, and you give them a foothold in your life.

Please, stop trying to use evil spirits, or at least do not try to tempt others into doing so. The devil is a liar who will use any tactic to deceive you and keep you bound. Christ hasn't given us the power to control or dominate evil spirits, but the authority to cast them out, bind them and rebuke them in His name.

Oh, sorry about that. I was actually just referring to humans.

I just ask God directly when it comes to spiritual beings.

Your greatest weapons are truth, especially biblical truth and peace...

Also, faith is necessary and required...

In fact, all that he (the enemy) is not, and does not have or possess, are your greatest assets...

You can "stand" pretty solid (with him) (the enemy) on all and anything he is not (or does not have (in him) or possess)...

God Bless!

I think what is going on is that you are trying to find different ways to fight the enemy in the flesh, because anger isn't working, because you lack the faith to stand in the authority that Christ has given you. We have to put our focus on Him and on Heaven, understand thar when we speak rebukes, God is working through us by the Holy Spirit, and Satan cannot stand it. He has to flee. It isn't you vs. the devil. It's God setting His children free as we submit to Him.

That is what Jude 1:9 means, and Luke 10:20. We don't fight in the flesh or in pride, but in Christ, by putting all our focus on Him. EVERYTHING else will fail. But if we do, we have complete authority to rebuke the devil, as it is Jesus Himself who is speaking through us. Try this instead of compromising!

"Get behind me", or "get under me" is a "command" to submit, not to leave or get away, but to submit and serve (him) (Jesus)... And no, you should not let him speak (long) but you have to shut him/them down/up sometimes, just like Jesus did... He showed us the way to do this, and it is just like he did...

Jesus shows us how to overcome and conquer the enemy, and the enemy had to serve Jesus... So, was he a sorcerer...? Or did those who he gave authority to have the demons be subject to them, were they sorcerers as well...?

"Fear" of Satan, even more than Fear of God is so common, I guess I should have expected as much...

You think Satan is more powerful than God, or Christ, or Christ in you...? That is a lack of faith and a mistake, maybe even a fatal mistake, if you ask me...

Look, I know your afraid, I feel it sometimes too, but that is not going to get us anywhere, not for those having real problems with him...

God Bless!

Define "rebuke"...? If it does in fear, or anger, or pride, the how is it not doing it on your own or in your strength or your own authority...?

I agree with you, we must use Jesus name and Jesus power and authority, that is "in you" is the key though...

And the best way to do this is to use lines (truth) from scripture about him like (John 8:44) has been very useful for me, in a lot of instances...

God Bless!

What are you even talking about? Read Psalms 23:4 I will fear no evil, for thou art with me! We don't fear Satan, because He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world. Not because we can fight him in our own strength. If you live according to the flesh, you are sinning, and all who sins are of the devil. Not of Christ.

Walk by the Spirit!

And no, Jesus hasn't commanded Satan to serve him. satan lost that right when he fell from Heaven. Also, God never commands anyone to serve Him. Not even demons. He only defeats them and sends them to the pit or the dry places, or wherever He wishes to send them.

I don't like talking about this either, but, and I wouldn't if it were not for how many people out there I know that need it or things like this...

Not talking about though, is not gonna make it, or him, just go away...

So let's talk about it...

I propose maybe changing the thread to this: "How do we have real personal victory, with a real personal enemy, individually in our lives...?" Real true victory, that will truly shut the enemy down/up, make him submit to us, or make him go away...

When simply calling on God or Jesus is not seeming to be working very well...

When maybe God wants us to learn how to use our God given authority with him...

How do you propose we do this...?

God Bless!

You cannot just use Scripture though, you have to speak them by the Holy Spirit. In Christ, or we can do nothing. John 15:5

And it's not about using verses as weapons. It is your understanding of the verses that helps you submit to God in truth and in Spirit. Read Matthew 4:1-11
Satan twists Scripture, and Jesus corrects him. Satan rebels against God, but Jesus stays true to God's Word, as it is written. That is what demons do to us. They speak twisted Scripture, and what we must do is to submit to God and know His truth, do His commandments, and Satan will flee.

I do do that, and have done that, and he has fled, but he keeps coming back, and I do it again, and he flee's, and/but he keeps coming back, and I do it again, and he flees but he keeps coming back, ect ect...

I'm just "tired of it" and want him to leave me and others alone for good...

I'm done, done with him and he knows that, but he comes back, leaves, later on, comes back, leaves, later on, comes back ,leaves, later on...? It's like a broken record and it's the same old "crap"...

I want to get rid of him for good, and be able to tell or show others how to get rid of him for good as well...

I know so very many others that are having way worse problems with him than I, and I want to help them, just don't know how...?

Honestly, from reading your posts, I can say for certain that you are giving them footholds in your life, by paying too much attention to them. There is a curiosity that leads to eating the fruit, which often lead to oppression or even possession.

But yes, God does sometimes allow Satan some room in our lives. Like He did with Paul and the thorn. But it is to test our faith, or to buffet us so we can see our weaknesses, to become weak in the flesh and strong in His Spirit. It's not so we can play with them. It's to increase our faith and our reliance on Him, die to sin and learn how to walk in the Spirit. God wants no room in our lives for the devil, but allows it to reveal to us His own Glory.

But Satan will also use it to increase our pride, and pretend to submit to us, to make us feel powerful, but it's all a lie.

I know a whole lot about the spiritual war we are in. I have faced a lot, which I will gladly share, but not in public. If you want to talk in private, that would work for me.

I really don't want Satan or demons "serving me", or even being in my life, and if that is not the way, then good, I'm glad...

They just won't go away though, (not permanently anyway), and I just don't know what to do about it, or with them, and i'm trying to help others with similar problems/issues, some having a much harder time than I am, and the atypical things they are told, like me, do not seem to be working, what do we do...?

What do I tell them to do, or how to handle it or deal with it...?

God Bless!

I actually do not have as much a problem with him as I use to, but he use to really be a problem in my life, and there are "others" that are where I use to be and I want to help them but don't know how exactly...?

He's a been reduced from what use to be a "major problem" to a "minor nuisance" in my life now, thanks to God... But he's not completely gone, and I want him gone, and I want him to leave my friends alone as well...

What do I do...?

What about where Jesus talks about "binding the strong man" (the Devil) how do you "bind him", (and plunder his goods) (Jesus says)... (Matthew 12:29) (Mark 3:27)...

God Bless!
I'm not the slightest bit interested in his "goods" at all though, I just want him to go away and leave us all alone for good...

And I was just thinking, since he won't, what do we do...? And, I thought (though I may have been mistaken) that we had to beat or defeat him somehow, or somehow make him subject to us, since he won't leave permanently...

If that thinking is wrong, then good, but what do we do...? Cause I'm at a loss...?

God Bless!
