Finding God stories and many posts associated with this one. I found on my blog I was only writing about my story, God's work in my story. Basically me me me. Now I am slowing down on my writing and saying ok God this is your blog your community. Give me more to write about other than me.

Love is a choice.
And here's how to love God and your neighbor at the same time.
Matthew chapter 25 verses 31-46
When the Son of Man comes" in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. he will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. Then the King will say to those on his right, Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. then the righteous will answer him, Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and got visit you? The King will reply, I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me. Then he will say to those on his left, Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.They also will answer, Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you? He will reply, I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me. Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.

So you are saying that good works is love?
And when God says to love him in the Old Testament he means works?

explain James 1:5? Faith without works is dead. Way I see it is that faith and love can only be seen by others through our works. God's love often is first seen by His works which then draws people to Him. Yes I realize He also draws our hearts. But, for us to see the love others have for us, or the faith we have in Him there has to be some sort of work involved.

If E = mc2 then we can divide and conclude that...
Mass (m) = Energy (E/c2)
And there are three varieties...
Natural E/c2 - All mass is basically cooled plasma
Mental E/c2 - Mentally, A mathematical formula, but this has chemical and spiritual properties as well.
Spiritual E/c2 - E (motivation, warmth, love) / c2 (faith, hope, charity, joy)
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. - 1 John 1:5
I would say then that love is a spiritual experience rather than a mental choice.

I am not as educated as many here to know all the theologies and so on. All I know is to love my husband who went to jail for his actions I had to mentally choose to until God could heal my heart from all the hurt. So for me and my story, I had to mentally choose.

The love has to exist in order to make it experienced. Think about someone you love. There is a reason, right? What is the reason or what are the reasons? It is hard to express, but if you chip away at it you will see that there are reasons, right?

After my husband spent a lot of time with inappropriate content, with emotional affairs, after he touched my daughter, he went to jail. No, the love was not there, hurt, anger, betrayal, mother bear protecting took its place. But, God spoke to me, told me do not divorce, I have something more. So, I decided I would obey God and love him even though I did not feel it anymore. God has blessed us because through it all both my husband and I sought God individually and together through it. God brought back the loving feeling as a result of us obeying Him.
