Woe woe woe

Some people have related the Woe woe woe of Revelation to be the three world wars.

Revelation 8:13
And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

After all Russia is known as the "Bear".. the king of the north..
Daniel 11:13

Good guess, but it has to do with a later time.

The red horse is Islam, and the black horse is Russia. The pale horse is the world.

Of course you guys are talking a Futuristic interpretation of Revelation. It is not the only interpretation. There is the Historic interpretation, the Idealistic interpretation, and the Preterist interpretation, which includes the partial Preterist position which I adhere to.

According to preterism, all prophecy in the Bible is really history. The preterist interpretation of Scripture regards the book of Revelation as a symbolic picture of first-century conflicts, not a description of what will occur in the end times. The term preterism comes from the Latin praeter, meaning “past.”

"What is now" was the prophecy given. Some things have taken place since, but there is a lot more to come.

The kings of the North and South is about when Italy was divided North from South.

That is a more recent divide and not a prophetic divide. Italy has no power as a nation in the global scene other than that which the papacy exerts.

Rev16:12[NRSV]The sixth angel poured his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up in order to prepare the way for the kings from the east.

China is a very large terrible country without God. Even many Chinese and Taiwanese “Christians” worship idols. In this verse here “east“ is an alarm that Eastern crafty should be Kept watch. So pray for the justice and righteousness in the east, which can be a strength to prevent the enemy of Israel from the east.

Oh, I have no doubt it was prophecy. I go for an earlier writing of Revelation, so that it predicts the Jewish-Roman wars. But what I was trying to say is that it also speaks of the coming of the Messiah and the messianic age, as well as the resurrection and the judgement, none of which have happened yet. That's PARTIAL preterism.

I really recommend "Revelation: Four Views" by Steve Gregg. He goes passage by passage, and gives each view's interpretation. I learned soooo much. I came away with an appreciation for ALL the different views. https://www.amazon.com/Revelation-P...preST=_SY291_BO1,204,203,200_QL40_&dpSrc=srch
