I decided about five weeks ago to follow Jesus all the way. However have been plagued with awful left sided chest arm and neck and back pain. I've missed the last two weeks of work It's been really scary and has taken some of the focus off of church and things. I feel like if the Lord would heal me that I could really get past this physical barrier and mental one too. I want to get baptized and clean out all of the possessions I have in my house that I know aren't pleasing to God. I just haven't physically been able to focus on what I need to do and praise him the way I feel I want and need to because of the physical pain and fear. Please remember me in your prayers. Thank you friends.
Sorry to hear about your pain. Have you been checked by a chiropractor or deep muscle reflexologist? It could something as simple as a pinched nerve or something more severe. I hope you get it checked soon to give you peace of mind.

Praying for you!

Trust me i have been thinking the same thing I even forced myself to get up and bag up some movies and books that I don't feel good about. I want to get baptized too as soon as i can be i just don't know what limitations I have right now I haven't been to work for two weeks I feel like I'm having a heart attack with the pain going down my arm and armpit and left chest and shoulder. I feel weak and stuff and the echocardiogram came back good so the cardiologist doesn't thing it can be my heart because he thinks I am too young for heart disease. It just really scares me and so I sit here at home praying and waiting on doctor appointments and tests. It's the worst thing I've been through and I have lived a rough life no bed of roses but this is the hardest. It's not just physical pain but fear too I struggle with. Please pray for me razzelflabben. I am trying to hang in there and put my trust in God but it's such a strong thing that has a hold on my body that it makes it hard to keep my mind on the Lord the whole time.
I am praying...could you be having problems with your lungs. Sometimes my lungs hurt so that I think it is my heart...it's scary to say the least

another thought, have you asked the elders of your church to anoint and pray for you?

Hello, yes I happened to see a chiropractor he cracked my neck and back and things and said that should fix me but that was almost two weeks ago and it's gotten worse. As long as the Lord continues to protect me while I wait for a diagnosis I will be alright. I am waiting on a nerve test i have to wait like a month and a half to have it done. The hospital is so busy. With everyone's prayers and the Lord helping me i know I can make it til I find something out. Thank you all.

Hey, yes everyrime I go to church I let then put oil on my head and pray. I am not losing faith i am just going to keep on until the Lord let's the doctors find out what it is and help me, or unless he heals me first. But I have had lung pain before but it's not the same as that I had it checked already too. I am waiting on more testing that is about a month and some weeks away. I had a good w echocardiogram too. So that pretty much says that my heart is fine too since the cardiologist said he thinks I'm too young for heart disease And it doesn't run in my family that I know of. I have love for all of you guys though thanks for talking to me it does help to have people pray and things.

I actually suffer from the same pain. It comes and goes. Im starting to believe it may be stress related. other times i think its nerve damage. Please make sure it is not your heart, which is something I need to do as well. I pray that Jesus will place his healing hand on your pain and you will find relief. Amen
Hey SaraJane, I pray the same for you. I hope you go get checked out good too. At least rule out your heart. I will keep you in my prayers though and I know God will see us through. He brought me out of such a bad life of sin and addiction and things and i keep telling myself that he must have a plan that he didn't deliver me out of that life to be saved just to let me fall to the wayside with illness and fear. But I hope you have a good night ☺

wow, we have a lot in common. Fear is a big one in my life right now sometimes I dwell in it. But I'm starting to realize alot of it is the devil trying to work his way back into my life. If he can't get me to go back to my old lifestyle, then living in fear is another route he can take. And fear is not trusting God. But yep we need to keep reminding ourselves God loves us and the world is beautiful, and we are beautiful! Have a good night as well

Yes I most definitely agree with you and that's what my mom says too she says that since I finally surrendered my heart to God that the devil is trying hard anyway he can to pull me away from church and likes to see me not feeling like praising the Lord and things and I believe that is true. I feel bad about having fear because it does mean that I don't have as much faith as i wish I did but I think too that sometimes this physical body is overwhelming and overpowering, our minds get carried away with us because we are only humans but I still believe no matter what, and in the end this will only draw me closer to God. It just makes me lean on the Lord all the more u know? I don't know if I'm supposed to think that way but I have faith in him and the more scared I get the more I need him i was saying to someone else that sometimes I imagine myself as the woman who reached out and touched the hem of Jesus's robe. And the power of his healing that she must have felt rush through her body and spirit and I am expecting him to touch me that way too when he is ready. I will continue to pray for you though SaraJane.

Blessings in Christ Jesus. If the pain is running down your arm and armpit and chest and back then it originates from the neck. With me it was a disc that was on a nerve. The Lord healed me both times this happened. Once, right before surgury was planned, and the last time was little by little. The first healing happened when He asked me to go fishing one day, and it was done right there on the lake much to my surprise. The second healing happened little by little as people prayed for me. Today the pain is completely gone much to surprise of the doctors. The purpose of writing this is to let you know He has control of your situation and to give you hope in the mist of the pain. At the time of this writing there are at least 12 people praying in agreement for your healing, so according to The Word of God your healing is on the way one way or another. Fear not, for The Lord is merciful in all His ways.

Hello there, I'm glad you got your healing. I love to hear testimonies of God's work and miracles. When I receive my healing I will share it on here with you all so you can be encouraged too!

Look into myofascial pain disease but don't get confused by those that equate it to fibromyalgia....they are very different. In the meantime we will keep praying for you and remember that the anointing is to be done with confession.

Okay i am looking into that now to see if it sounds like my symptoms and also do you know where I can read in the bible about the confession thing? That hasn't been something that I was taught in my life and I am a little curious.

I have myofascial and it is debilitating at least in my case but most dr. are still lumping it in with fibro which makes a diagnosis difficult. I recently found new info on it and will be trying it in my own quest for God's healing but in the meantime I will be faithful to the ministry that has resulted from the illness. I pray that no matter what He chooses for you, you will see the beauty of His will in your life.

As to confession. Confession is all through scripture but the one I was referring to was in James 5 where it is talking about anointing. Personally I think it is confession for both the sick and the one anointing and praying so that the prayer is offered by a righteous man. Not sure what translation you like but here is the NIV
13 Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray.Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. 16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

Also check this out!! I had told you all that I had a test coming that was scheduled so far out, well over a month out. That I wasn't sure what to do I already missed two weeks of work from this. Well I got a call from the hospital this morning and the lady said just wanted to let you know we had a cancellation for tomorrow afternoon if you're interested. God is awesome! He knows exactly when and how to pull strings and encourage us. I feel like I'm one step closer to figuring this thing out!

I just ran out of money (lol) and the pain came back. but anyhow I hope it starts feeling better. Yoga stretches might also help? just hope your feeling better and hope you have a great weekend!
Still praying for you :)

And I thank you so much for every single prayer. I know I will have a good weekend and I hope you will as well. I am being baptized tonight btw we are leaving here in about 15 minutes I'm exited but a little nervous too. Not sure why but definitely more exited than nervous! I'm going to have someone take a few pics too and I'll try to post them soon.
