Prayer so that I mentally and emotionally heal from my past hurts

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

I feel a lot like that a lot of the time. I have not had a definite diagnosis from a doctor yoet but am pretty sure I have complex PTSD from childhood abuse (constant violence, verbal abuse and neglect from a baby to mid/late teens). Your comments about being taken advantage of ring alarm bells that you may have trauma from abuse. You cant just forget about what happened but you can forgive them. This stats with a choice to forgive them and then work it through with God. The way I now see it is if you have not forgiven someone you are holding on to unforgiveness for them, let go of it and give it to God.

You may find that hormones fro being pregnant are affecting you as well. My wife had pre-natal blues , but it passed after our kids were born. She also found she made a lot of new friends at mother and baby groups.

Lord I lift up my sister to you in the name of Jesus and I pray that you will send great peace into her heart and remove any anger that has formed in her from being hurt. Lord I ask that You help her to forgive them that hurt her and guide her as she moves forward. In Jesus precious name AMEN

Praying for you Katy, and sharing this verse that comes to mind. God LOVES you and your li'l one you are carrying. There might be tragedy, heartaches, and pain, yet our God is a God of HEALING and PROTECTION, and Who gathers us under His wings. He's also a God of restoration and a Lifter of our head. He is VERY NEAR the broken in heart. He RESTORES the years the locust has eaten. He raises beauty from ashes. (((hug)))

Father, may this woman take this opportunity to "go on retreat" right where she is with You. No cost, no traveling, just spending time with You for several days reading Your Word to her, talking to You in prayer, getting to know You, and more about how You see her. May she grow in the knowledge of You and Your Word, and get a better picture of herself and the intimate relationship You want to have with her. May this bring an idea of the value You place on her, as well as a confidence to live life around people, knowing that You are close by, indwelling the true Christian. May she learn from Your Word how to be protected spiritually, emotionally, and even physically be putting on the armor You provide (Ephesians 6:10-20) and following the guidance You give in such verses as Proverbs 3:5-6; Proverbs 4:23; Matthew 6:33-34; and Psalms 37:5. Regarding past hurts may she consider Philippians 3:13-14; Psalms 30:11; Psalms 142:5; Luke 17:3-4; and other verses she may come across in daily reading of the Bible. Amen.

I pray for you and your baby. I pray that your pregnancy will be healthy. I pray that God will give you an interesting and happy life and that you will be able to forgive those who have given you pain. Amen.

May God guide Katy and turn her wounds and experiences into good and provide confidence, healing and direction and the ability to help others with God's help. Amen.

Dear Katyajane I pray that Your pregnancy goes well, that You find that God has good plans for You and that You feel secure, safe and loved by Him. He is Our Home, maybe that is why we feel a bit lost in the world. But with God we are Home anywhere. God bless You.
