why did he stop at ten?
there are 22 letters in the hebrew alphabet, 5 of which use different forms at the end of a word. genesis is the first book and 22 is the last letter. it would seem important since Gods Son is called the Word.
here is a ten.
Gen 22:10 (YLT)
and Abraham putteth forth his hand, and taketh the knife--to slaughter his son.
Gen 22:13 (YLT)
And Abraham lifteth up his eyes, and looketh, and lo, a ram behind, seized in a thicket by its horns; and Abraham goeth, and taketh the ram, and causeth it to ascend for a burnt-offering instead of his son;
H8478 תַּחַת tachath (takh'-ath) n-m.
1. the bottom (as depressed)
2. only adverbially, below (often with prepositional prefix underneath), in lieu of, etc
there is hope with God but thick darkness keeps the fallen angels until that big day ( weddings seem like a big day to me and love is an everlasting bond)
Jude 1:6
angels also, those who did not keep their own principality, but did leave their proper dwelling, to a decision of a big day, in bonds everlasting, under darkness He hath kept,
Isa 60:1-5 (YLT)
Arise, be bright, for come hath thy light, And the honour of Jehovah hath risen on thee. For, lo, the darkness doth cover the earth, And thick darkness the peoples, And on thee rise doth Jehovah, And His honour on thee is seen. And come have nations to thy light, And kings to the brightness of thy rising. Lift up round about thine eyes and see, All of them have been gathered, they have come to thee, Thy sons from afar do come, And thy daughters on the side are supported. Then thou seest, and hast become bright, And thine heart hath been afraid and enlarged, For turn unto thee doth the multitude of the sea, The forces of nations do come to thee.
"Thy sons from afar do come, And thy daughters on the side are supported" reminds me of the 22 and 5.
