Yes, I agree on your next post as well. I know that the sacrifices were done to atone for sin in the Old Testament, and there was the time when Abraham was asked to sacrifice his son Isaac. And I know that God did provide a goat I think it was, tangled in a bush, to take the place of Isaac.
Anyway, I'm wandering a bit here, but what I'm trying to find is some info on why Numbers, and the instruction to Moses would be as they are, several days, and so many animals. I imagine it had to do with showing the people it had to truly be a sacrifice, a real hardship and loss for them to atone for their sins. I mean if I look at Jesus, what a sacrifice He was, I can't put it in words it was so great a sacrifice
