What makes it even MORE delightful?

Well it's God's Word, and the blessings of His Word, and PRAISING Him, and lifting a THANKFUL heart up to Him that makes it ever so delightful.

Doing so on this snowy morning.

"O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms." ~Psalm 95:1-2

What a BLESSED way to start the morning.

To speak of God's GOODNESS over coffee and to just praise Him and thank Him, and to lift a thankful heart to Him, with morning coffee.....

How precious is THAT???!!!

"Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for He is good: for his mercy endureth for ever." ~Psalm 106:1

Coffee and a grateful heart.

"Delight thyself also in the LORD;" ~Psalm 37:4

Mornings started with a thankful heart not only bless God's heart, but bless the one blessed with a grateful heart (us). It is the antithesis to all of the negatives and the toxicity that comes at us even before and after we wake up.

God knows this. He knows that it's like an "inoculation", a "booster shot", if you will, against all of the wiles and fiery arrows from the enemy. And He also knows that the enemy has no defense against it. It disarms him.

It is, as a matter of fact, the "twin" of joy. And we all know that the enemy hates THAT. As a matter of fact, he "fears" it. Y'see "joy" is quite a formidable "armor". When "joy" is present, and with it, a grateful heart, we become one formidable "weapon of joy" that the enemy avoids like the plague.

And that is why God stresses joy and thankfulness. It's because we are "equipped" and "fortified" to the nth degree when we are filled with both. They overflow onto others.

Grateful Heart.

It's God's "remedy" for all that is just waiting to assail us from the time we wake up, in the news, and elsewhere. God KNOWS how to fortify us, our hearts, minds, and spirits, and it's through a "grateful" heart and its accompanying "joy" (cuz we can't have one without the other....)

They're sorta' like the delightful "twins" hahaaa.

How utterly delightful is our God, amen?

I LOVE His "vitamins", don't you?

Our Hope Today.

Each day we seek our Father's face. In the morning our thoughts turn to Him, and we just lift the day to Him and ask Him to fill our empty selves with HIM and all that comes WITH Him, and that is, hope, and joy, and peace, and ALL good things, to overflowing.

He is our defense, our refuge, and our strength.

He is our HOPE.

He is GOOD.

"But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble." ~Ps 59:16

God's faithfulness.

His love and His faithfulness is unwavering. It is "us" that wavers. WE need Him like we need oxygen, and first thing in the morning. It is how we are fortified and strengthened for the day, to abide in Him and be ever-conscious of Him. Otherwise we are depleted, distracted, and like a deflated balloon, and maybe even to weary to seek Him or raise a thought to Him.

We need our "spiritual vitamins", so to speak.

And that would be God Himself.

Thirsting for the living God.

Meeting with the living God in the morning is a mutual delight for us, and for God. He LONGS to quench our thirst just as we long, and need to be quenched. Only He can quench this thirst. Therefore we come to Him, to be filled to overflowing, with His joy, and His peace, and all good things that only HE can give.

How delightful is THAT???!!!

God's mercy, renewed every morning.

He is GOOD!!!

God, prayers, and coffee.

Early in the morning is a precious, special time to meet with God. During coffee, to meditate and pray and to just dedicate the day to our heavenly Father, and to thank thank thank Him for another day, and to glorify, praise, and worship Him.

(My prayer is that i will get up very early regularly to seek His face, FIRST.)

"Teach me thy way, O Lord; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name. I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore. For great is thy mercy toward me: and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell." ~Ps 86:11-13

Amen.

Looking up.

Seeking our heavenly Father's face in the morning is how God intends to bless us, strengthen us, "anchor" us to Him, and providing strength and grace for the day's journey.

How bless-ed is THAT??!!
