I think I would have to choose Trump because Putin actually knows what he is doing. Some choice, it's almost as bad as Clinton or Trump, that one was a real brain twister to.

Honestly since Putin can order people to be murdered and Trump just only wants to, I really see no difference. They’re both unprincipled control freaks . Putin’s just a little more competent. So in answer to the question I’d have to say , neither

Do you honestly think that the takeaway from the 2016 Russian election meddling is Putin walking into a voting booth and pulling the lever for a candidate? I'm not being snarky; I honestly don't get what your point is supposed to be. Despite the fact that having Trump is functionally pretty much the same as having Putin (can you say "Manchurian candidate"?), Putin is not eligible to be elected here.

I want to have someone for president who is capable of actually leading. That sure isn't Trump, and Putin's not eligible. So to answer your question: neither one.

So, this is the case of trying to choose the lesser evil, and the devil I know is better than the one I don't know.

Tough question, but maybe Trump. Trump is fairly stupid and mostly incompetent, but only kinda corrupt. Putin OTOH is smart, and (AFAIK) reasonably competent, but his competence is used to support his absolute corruption, which makes his competence sort of irrelevant.

I'd choose Trump over Putin. I'll take immoral and incompetent over ruthless and murderous.
