More Insanity: Trump brags about lying to Canada PM

Trump fully admits, even does bragging, about the fact that he went to a trade meeting without any idea of what he was talking about, and lying to Canadian leader.

That is the effort Trump is putting into being POTUS. This is how much he considers it a privledge. This is how much he cares about his fellow countrymen. He mocks every American when he laughs about being ignorant of basic facts during an important meeting. What parent would accept this behavior from their grade 6 child? Going into an important test without paying attention in class, and then not studying? And then laughing about failing so badly?

Nobody here. No wonder his father sent him to military school.

In my opinion this man is not worthy of shining Obama's shoes. Sorry if that hurts feelings here, but it is true, and everyone now knows this in their hearts. Actions such of this tell the world everything they need to know about the character of Mr. Donald J. Trump.

Willing to bet he'll try to say he was joking about lying, despite it being obvious he wasn't. That's what he does when he gets called out on lying. He gaslights.

It is that Trump would not put in effort of literally 1 minute to learn the most basic fact of the trade agreement: Surplus or Deficit?

One minute. To care enough to know if it is Surplus or Deficit. That very smallest of efforts was too much for Trump. Easier just to lie.

If anyone still thinks this man is good for the USA..... I cannot say what I think but it is not good.

Yonny - The problem is that with all of the myriad outrageous statements, lies, distortions, and fabrications that the president spews one must always apply the sarah huckabee-sanders rule of trump talk.

1. He didn't really say that.
2. He didn't really mean that.
3. It was a joke, of course. Don't you know about jokes?
4. That's the exact opposite of what he meant.
5. He never meant that to be taken literally.
6. You've got to stop listening to the words, that's not what this is all about.
7. He is the president, so whatever he says is all the truth you need.

Trump may have had his facts mangled, and then didn't gravel like typical politicians. Yawn. Funny you guys don't criticize CNN over their dishonesty. Or Hillary? (bracing for a rush to defend both by the good Christians here)

But I find it amazing professing Christians aren't praising Trump. He's one of the most pro-life presidents in our nation's history according to Concerned Women for America, Operation Rescue and March for Life, and many other pro-life orgs. He's actually one appointment away from turning the court on Roe v Wade. Something to praise? Something to celebrate? Nooooooo, we're caught up in media gossip and name calling. What a sad state we're in.

Well it seems you will find much of that around the world...it was in Great Britain that many pols termed him a petulant child. I guess that I try to restrain from ad hominem type rhetoric and focus on the subject...each to their own. (Hopefully the US won't find itself in a similar situation in the near future...)
