You know about Parkland HS murders a month ago (today?). Seventeen dead, seventeen injured. A huge fallout over issues. THIS IS A CULTURAL ISSUE and we need to pray for it this way, please. (Breakdown of the family, lack of church attendance, no consequences for actions.. and a system with so many rules it doesn't work?)
Today a young student took a knife to a school in Jupiter FL (south east coast) and killed several by stabbing them. He had recently converted to Islam and said his new faith required the murders. I haven't heard anything on MSM about this. I daresay if a person who had just converted to Christianity had done this... but of course we don't, do we. God is LOVE!
There were 2 Naval Pilots who crashed in the Florida Keys today. Both died. I believe it was a training mission. There is a Naval Base in Key West.
The longest pedestrian bridge of this type collapsed today at FIU (Florida International University) killing several and at present time 10 in hospital, 2 very critical. SAR still underway now 4 hours later. (A local contractor had just sued the company last week over a collapse he which he was injured?) Actually this was a collaboration of 2 companies. They are about to lift the sections off the cars any time. The 8 lane Eighth Street carries 60,000 vehicles a day and this bridge was to give safety to 4000 students. It was due to have more supportive wiring or cables which had not yet been put into place.
