Conspiracy Theory or Lunatic Fringe?

I seem to be finding very few Conspiracy Theories on this page---It seems to be polluted with the Lunatic Fringe for some reason...

... There is a big difference between a true Conspiracy Theorist and a Lunatic. You have succumbed to the ploys of the government and media to demonize the CT community and equate us with the Lunatics...

Conspiracy theories can be very interesting, even informative. The problem is they are rarely based on some kind of confirmed fact. What it encourages is wild speculation and while I do enjoy a good conspiracy theory I realize your going to have to sort through a lot of them before finding something real.

In the case of 9/11 for example I differentiate between those who debate how much the Govt knew beforehand, and those ‘lunatics’ who claim there was no one on the planes, or planned explosives.

IMO, I would say that, to some, .... If they believe in the conspiracy.... they accept that it is a comspiracy... if they don't believe in it... then it is "lunatic fringe".

To some, JFK, and 911 are also "lunatic fringe".

Whoever has the loudest voice and controls the dialog =P

Whoever writes history ultimately decides. But conspiracies exist... MKUltra is a good fairly recent one that is fact.
