I think you are playing with words here. If I get what you are hinting at, there is no condemnation for having same-sex attraction, just for acting out on it. Is that what you are looking for?

It is the same with divorce. One is not condemned for divorcing one's spouse. According to Christ, it is the act of re-marrying which is the act of adultery.

For your first paragraph, exactly. There are prohibitions in the scriptures about certain sexual activities, but nothing about sexuality. That doesn’t stop many Christians, however, from condemning the state of being homosexual...

For your second, can I say, then, that you are as enthusiastic in your condemnation of remarried divorceés as you are of gay people...?

As for your second question, are divorced people creating school programs where they insist upon going into elementary schools and teaching that divorce is a really good thing? Do divorced people prey on young children and use their bodies for their pleasure? Does divorce spread disease? Is there a militant "divorce lobby" here in the USA and elsewhere having "Divorce Pride Parades?"

No one thinks that divorce is a good thing. We are, however, being constantly sold a bill of goods in which we are expected to almost celebrate homosexual behavior as good, normal, and consistent with everything that is right in the world.

And I am not "enthusiastic" when I simply mention the fact that the Scriptures condemn homosexual activity. FYI - I also do condemn divorce and remarriage. I do not condemn people for having same-sex feelings, nor do I condemn people for being divorced. What I condemn is transgressing the boundaries of both of these issues - boundaries which God has set in His Word.
