I am seeking closeness to God and a life in accordance with the bible. One fundamental aspect is to believe in the correctness and authenticity of the bible. Much of the bible is "common sense" (almost like facts of life), whilst some aspects requires a deeper understanding and the reader's acceptance/agreement, to support a spiritual development. In such situations, I am trying to submit to the mainstream idea that everything said in the bible is indisputable truths. Despite this I can't stop thinking about why grace God who created everything, decided to send his son Jesus for over 2000 years ago. If Jesus was sent to us in modern times, his words and actions would have been easily recorded and disseminated through media, including social networks etc. Christianity would have been spread like a wildfire across the globe! Sinners and seekers like myself would have been easily "convinced" and the entry barrier into Christianity would have been probably much lower. Since our father is perfect, why did he made a seemingly imperfect timing decision? I am probably ignorant and I hope for an explanation to support my spiritual development.

hi Mango, Galations 4:4-7 In the fullness of time, God sent His Son....

Gods timing was very productive i think. It says the disciples turned the WORLD upside down, and there was worldwide conversion.

But we are now in the last days when the AntiChrist will soon appear, and the love of many has grown cold. God has to wind it all up sometime, and has waited for maximum yield of the harvest.
