Proverbs 11:

This is precious. Especially about the winning of souls.

What could be more precious than THAT???!!!

it surely must bless and delight God's heart.

THIS prayer, tyo be a winner of souls, to glorify God, will SURELY Bless AND answer, in remarkable ways.

It's also reeeeeally deeeep: the "fruit" of the righteous is a "tree of life".....hmmmmm, that's an entire study in itself.

Sounds like it's time to "dig for treasure" again.

yes, I feel that the message is to listen to advisers, or counsellors, sound advice!

And...he who refreshes others....I like it...

The bottom line of this profound message, is that those who "refresh" others, God Himself will "refresh" them.

That, to me is a most profound and powerful promise from the living God, to me.

Thank GOD He is Who He is.

Amen.

Proverbs 11:

Refreshing others.

The many times that i have "refreshed" others (and i'm referring to brothers and sisters in Christ) hasn't always reciprocated in "refreshment" to my very soul when i was parched, or weary, but instead has been likened to a kick in the teeth, at those very times, from the most unlikely of sources. It is at those times that God is teaching me to do just as Jesus instructed His disciples to do, and that is, to "kick the dust off".

For anyone that does as this verse below says (returning evil for good), one must kick the dust off, and move on:

"Whoso rewardeth evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house." ~Proverbs 17:13

"And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet." ~Matthew 10:14

In the meantime, one moves on, to "refresh" others, who are willing to be "refreshed", as i am myself, soooo in need of. We need each other, to lift each other up, encourage each other, be the lifters of each others head, and to pray for one another.

Not to "harbor" jealousy, or treachery or dishonesty or deceit in our hearts that surfaces eventually in various ways.

Let us continue "refreshing" each other with authentic and genuine hearts, for to do so, is many times, like giving a glass of water to someone in a parched and arid desert, amen?

"Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." ~Matthew 25:37-40

Proverbs 11:

Wisdom and a tree of life.

This verse (Pr 11:30) is one of the most profound and powerful and "chock full of blessings and favor" verses in the Bible.

It speaks of "eternity" and what is of eternal proportions, such as the bearing of fruit that is akin to a "tree of life", and the "wisdom" of one who "wins souls".

This is one blessed soul. It also indicates that this one spoken of is "walking with God". For if they were not walking with God, they would not be bearing the Godly fruit described, nor would they be "wise". For only those who "fear the Lord", walk with Him.

It is as this verse says it is. There is no wisdom if one does not fear the Lord, nor is there "knowing" God without the fear of the Lord.

It all ties together, somehow, doesn't it?

The bottom line, and starting point being right here in this verse:

"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding." ~Pr 9:10

Proverbs 11:

What a precious promise this is. This literally means that the blessings and favor that God pours out onto us, spills over onto even the very city where we live, and even beyond that city.

Praise God!!!!

That is just DELIGHTFUL.

What comes to mind for me is that we are to diligently pray for our neighborhoods, our cities, our communities, and our states, and our countries.

And yes, even our world.

Amen!

Praying.
