Ugh. :l That sin, that one sin that tempts me every day and wracks me with guilt after I've completed it. We all know what that sin is, or do we? You may be thinking "inappropriate contentography," "masturbating", "lying", "lust", "jealousy", "arrogance", "homosexuality".

Yep. These are the "mainstream, commercial" sins that GOD HATES. But what if I told you minor things you're doing everyday have bigger impact?

And I don't just mean eating that extra cookie when really it could have been given to your co-worker, I mean even more minor.

How about making it a point to watch the news everyday, for instance. Sure, that's fine... I just want to stay updated on the current events... maybe. Think about that simple act in this context: turning on FOX is easy, in fact I do it everyday, for SO MUCH of the day. I can't miss 12:30 news, 4:00 news, 5:00 news, 6:00 news, 8:30, or 11:30 news. Oh, I forgot to mention I watch it every morning after I wake up (even worse). Now just replace watching the news with praying to Allah. What's the difference? Nothing glorifies The Most High God.

Now, here's what I do for God during that day: maybe read a psalm and a chapter of the gospels (many Christians do not even open their Bibles), share a mild prosperity-oriented verse on Instagram, go to church (if it's Sunday), and say the Lord's Prayer every night. Oh, and missionary trips.

Here is the average* ratio of people's spiritual to physical lives... 1:10, (God just told me it can be even worse than this). Do you know what ratio God wants? Closer to 99:1 than 1:10.

Here's another example of an everyday minor sin that adds up to a landfill-sized load of hellfire: social media. I don't just mean Snapchat, I mean excess time spent on Christian Forums too! Here's something God will tell you He wants: time with you. Not time spent reading other people's sins, experiences with God, and atheist's opinions of God over and over again all day. He wants YOU. Your prayers, your worship, your time spent reading ACTUAL scriptures and not just interpretations of them. God was even tired of me watching YouTube videos of prophets prophesying after a while because He JUST WANTED ME.

Fellow children of God, He still speaks. It wasn't just something He did for Biblical purposes. He still talks, but no one's listening. He speaks AUDIBLY too.

SOUL SAVING ADVICE. Also, BIG DEAL here; your hobbies can wind up as sin too, even as far as the sin of idolatry. Ask God if your hobby is idolatrous, and by that I don't mean asking Him once then going on to sin again. I mean, after you ask Him, take a break from your hobby. Maybe a few days, a few weeks, even months. During your break, are you sweating, nervous, feeling unfulfilled, begging God to answer soon (and with an answer that tickles your ears) so it can all be over? I will say to you here that it's too late; your hobby was idolatry! If you care about a hobby so much that it makes you unhappy when you let it go, and it's not God-focused, it's idolatry. Simple.

Thank you for your time. I warned you.

Here is another warning.we aren’t saved by conquering the sins that “ so easily beset us.Pauls Gospel thAt saves us does not include this. Its an addition to the Gospel and therefore it is a perversion—— those that teach it are “ accursed”. Faith alone.
