Prison Ministry

Good evening, everyone. For some reason, I've been feeling strongly called to prison ministry lately; I don't know why, I guess it's just one of those desires God placed in my heart. I'd like prayers for these oppertunities for me to serve this way to arise, for lives to be transformed because of it, and for all those already in prison ministry, whether they're receiving or delivering, to all be blessed with the Holy Spirit & sent forth with greater love & confidence in God.

Update: I talked to the Christian Campus House people on campus, and they said I should go down to the prison (just a couple blocks off campus) and talk to the people there, to find out who the volunteer minister is & when I can serve. I'm on spring break for now, but I go back Sunday, and plan on going to prison then.
I'm kind of excited & kind of nervous at the same time; this will be the first time I've done any sort of ministry, and now I'll be walking down to an unfamiliar prison on my own. Please pray that God may send a helper, and that the prisoners, other volunteers, and I may have the best possible impacts on each other.
