I believe the ten tribes are currently misplaced but at some stage their history and ancestry will be recognised. Here are two sources of interest among countless others.

item1.-
Flavius Josephus was a Jewish military commander, a Pharisee, and an historian of the first century A.D. He wrote this about the ten tribes of Israel who were in Asia:
“...there are but two tribes in Asia and Europe subject to the Romans, while the ten tribes are beyond Euphrates till now, and are an immense multitude, and not to be estimated by numbers.”

Item2-
One of the oldest official documents showing Israelite migration is the Declaration of Arbroath in Scotland. This was written in 1320 by a long list of Scottish Earls and addressed to the Pope as a protest at the constant invasions by the English. It details the long journey from Egyptian captivity ending up in Scotland. The text of the Declaration of Arbroath

Do check the above link, but here is a brief extract from the Latin text.-
.......we know and from the chronicles and books of the ancients we find that among other famous nations our own, the Scots, has been graced with widespread renown.

They journeyed from Greater Scythia by way of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Pillars of Hercules, and dwelt for a long course of time in Spain among the most savage tribes, but nowhere could they be subdued by any race, however barbarous. Thence they came, twelve hundred years after the people of Israel crossed the Red Sea, to their home in the west where they still live today. The Britons they first drove out, the Picts they utterly destroyed, and, even though very often assailed by the Norwegians, the Danes and the English, they took possession of that home with many victories and untold efforts; and, as the historians of old time bear witness, they have held it free of all bondage ever since. In their kingdom there have reigned one hundred and thirteen kings of their own royal stock, the line unbroken a single foreigner.

Don't just meekly accept the conventional narrative about things, its been put there to downgrade the scriptures as relevant in people's minds.
Just like Columbus discovering America, and father Christmas, its all deliberate disinformation to stop us seeking truth.

I think most of them assimilated and scripture certainly hints at that. Part of the advent of the discovery of genetic testing is that it is showing people where their roots lay. I do not personally think that it is very likely that a large contingent of people in Europe and elsewhere are genetically Semitic and unaware that they are.

G-d divorced Israel (10 tribes) and a major part of the Messiah's mission was the redemption of Israel. You see, she went into the nations and was joined to them and if G-d brought her back and joined himself with her, then G-d himself would be guilty of adultery. Torah tells us that it is forbidden for a man to divorce his wife and if she marries another then divorces him for the original husband to marry her again.

Only by the death of one is the bond of marriage parted. When Yeshua died Adonai was free to pursue Israel again to bring her back.

One of the traits of the tribe of Dan was to rename places where they settled or traveled (Joshua 19:40–48; Judges 18:11–12, 26–29). The Danites were seafaring people (Judges 5:17) who were prophesied to leave their mark in place names: Cyprus was called the Ia-Dnan (Island of Dan), the Danube, the Dardanelles, Danzig and Denmark.

Some speculate that the Danish in Europe are the descendants of the tribe of Dan. Today, Denmark suffers from high rates of alcoholism. In its use of antidepressants it ranks fourth in the world. Denmark’s productivity is in decline, its workers put in only 28 hours a week, and everybody seems to have a government job. It’s also notable for having the highest taxes on Earth and it’s the cancer capital of the world.

The narrative of the golden calf cannot be understood without relating it to the erection of two golden calves in the temples of Beth-El and Dan by Jeroboam I of Israel (I Kings 12:26ff.). Isn't that why the tribe of Dan is not included among the twelve tribes listed in Revelation 7:5-8.

I disagree.
When the Israelites first started migrating, Europe was largely virgin territory, so it is the various Israelite tribes that were the core of some of the nations. Read this link from 1320AD, long before political correctness manipulated history.-

Hosea shows otherwise, when He sent the prophet to marry a prostitute, using it as a parable of an unfaithful Israel, who goes astray but is eventually is wooed back.
When the LORD first spoke through Hosea, the LORD said to Hosea, "Go, take to yourself a wife of harlotry and have children of harlotry; for the land commits flagrant harlotry, forsaking the LORD."

And here is the prophetic statement from the Lord that He will woo Israel back from her harlotries.-
Hosea2v14Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto her.
15And I will give her her vineyards from there, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope: and she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt.
16And it shall be at that day, says the LORD, that you shall call me Ishi; and shall call me no more Baali.
17For I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by their name.

Israel will eventually be restored and joined to Judah.

Well, you can tell all you want about what you believe but, G-d explicitly says: Jer 3:8 "And I saw that for all the adulteries of faithless Israel, I had sent her away and given her a writ of divorce, yet her treacherous sister Judah did not fear; but she went and was a harlot also.

Hosea was a prophet BEFORE Israel was destroyed and taken OUT of the land. Hosea taking the harlot as his wife is a picture of G-ds mercy, that while we were yet sinners he offered to draw us to him and redeem us (if only we will repent), and a physical picture to the people that THEY were acting as spiritual prostitutes before Adonai.

Hosea lived (750-720BC) over a hundred years before the birth of Jerimiah (655 BC. died ~ 570BC) The northern Kingdom's expulsion from the land started in 722 BC

And as I said, the ministry of the Messiah is the beginning of that process. G-d openly states that he issued a writ of divorce to Israel. She by virtue of joining herself with the nations CAN NOT be restored until one of the 2 (Israel or G-d) is separated from the bonds of marriage by the DEATH of one of the two. Yeshua, upon his death and resurrection, is now under Torah able to pursue Israel to reunite her with Judah as we see foretold by the prophet Ezekiel (along with others like Isaiah)

This has nothing to do with Israel.

I am aware of the folklore surrounding the belief that England and other western European nations are largely or in part founded by Israelites but these claims fail in providing any meaningful evidence that supports these claims and is LARGELY rooted in Replacement theology.

Israel had LARGELY abandoned in observing the feasts of Adonai, Sabbath and the Torah in general BEFORE their expulsion from the land. This process happened over a period of well over 100 years so it is HIGHLY unlikely that they would have suddenly reverted back to observance and remained a separate people. It is far more likely that Israel continued in its ways of harlotry and assimilated. We know for certain that the Assyrians settled in the land of the Samaritans and intermarried with them.

And equally amazing how there has always been a people who observe sabbath, feasts and worship Adonai throughout all centuries. ..His word never comes back void.

Its obvious to me you never actually read the link I posted before getting all worked up.

So you obviously know more than the writers of the Declaration of Arbroath in 1320. And they were referring to even older sources of information.

"we know and from the chronicles and books of the ancients we find that among other famous nations our own, the Scots, has been graced with widespread renown."
If you really think the claims of these ancients of 1320 are rooted in Replacement Theology, then there's obviously been a timeslip somewhere?

That's amusing. Chronicles does not always mean a book in the bible.
In order to illustrate a point I pasted one sentence from a much longer article I had linked to earlier.
To understand what I meant by "chronicles" please go to -

ARCHAEOLOGY . It is wonderful that because of scientific DNA testing and archaeology etc;,we can see an end of the misinformation put out by those in power to distort the truth of history . People need to be aware that when God said all would be revealed, and that is exactly what is happening now .

So that makes the Irish and the Gaels from Galicia a special people . Yes they saved civilisation and converted Briton as it was called by the Romans .

Unmistakable traces of Jewish prayer echo in the voice of Joseph Riverwind, the Amahura (war chief) of the Northern Arawak Nation, the indigenous peoples of South America and Caribbean, as he sings, “Shema, shema, nayena, popaska hoya yah”. He translated this ancient Native American song for Breaking Israel News:Are Native Americans Part of the Ten Lost Tribes?

For starts that was before G-d handed the written Torah to Moshe and was before he fullness of the faith of Judaism was realized on Mt. Sinai, so before one could be counted as "Jewish".
I'm thinking God knew the end from the beginning so that wouldn't make a difference.

S

St. Patrick kept Saturday as the sabbath. During the first century the Roman Empire did not extend into Scotland and Ireland. The Roman Empire made several attempts to conquer Scotland to no avail. The Romans eventually build a wall between Scotland and England called Adrian Wall. Remnants of that wall are still present today. Therefore the beliefs of the early Catholic Church did not get infiltrated into Scotland and Ireland until must later in History. Below are 4 Historical references proving that Saturday not Sunday was kept as the day of worship in Ireland and Scotland.

1) Historian A. C. Flick writes:
“The Celts used a Latin Bible unlike the Vulgate, and kept Saturday as a day of rest, with special religious services on Sunday.”
The Rise of the Medieval Church, page 237, Flick.
2)
“It seems to have been customary in the Celtic churches of early times, in Ireland as well as Scotland, to keep Saturday, the Jewish Sabbath, as a day of rest from labor. They obeyed the fourth commandment literally upon the seventh day of the week.”
The Church in Scotland, page140, James C. Moffatt, D.D.
3) “In this latter instance they seemed to have followed a custom of which we find traces in the early monastic church of Ireland by which they held Saturday to be the Sabbath on which they rested from all their labours.”
Adamnan Life of St. Columba, page 96), W.T. Skene
4) From the Catholic historian, T. Ratcliffe Barnett, on the Catholic queen of Scotland: “In this matter the Scots had perhaps kept up the traditional usage of the ancient Irish Church WHICH OBSERVED SATURDAY INSTEAD OF SUNDAY AS THE DAY OF REST.”

St Patrick was not Catholic

St Patrick was not a Catholic, in fact during his life time he had several conflicts with the Catholic Church. Patrick lived 100 years at least after the Council Nicaea and he condemned its teaching. The Council of Nicaea setup Sunday as the sabbath day and stopped Saturday worship. It also incorporated many pagan traditions into the Roman church. Before the Council of Nicaea even the Roman Empire kept the seventh day sabbath. When the pope sent a Bishop to Ireland, Patrick refused to bow to him.[1] In fact the Pope Boniface condemned the Scotish and Irish for allowing their priest to marry. In fact allowing the priest to marry was major bone of contention between the Catholic Church and Ireland.

“The monks sent to England (in 596 A.D.) by Pope Gregory the Great soon came to see that the Celtic Church differed from theirs in many respects…Augustine himself (a Benedictine abbot)…held several conferences with the Christian Celts in order to accomplish the difficult task of their subjugation (submission) to Roman authority…The Celts permitted their priests to marry, the Romans forbade it. The Celts used a different mode of baptism (i.e., true baptism: immersion) from that of the Romans…The Celts held their own councils and enacted their own laws, independent of Rome. The Celts used a Latin Bible (i.e., the Itala) unlike the (Roman Catholic’s Latin) Vulgate, and kept Saturday as a day of rest.”
The Rise of the Medieval Church, page 236-237, Flick.

Therefore it is plain to see that the Catholic Church invented false history about St Patrick trying to proof he was a Catholic priest. But history does not back that up. However there was a papal hero –Palladius, who name was also Patrick. He was sent from Rome to Ireland.[2]
