We've all been down the road where we imagine worst case scenarios in our minds when something in life pops up and we blow things out of proportion. I've seen it here on CF several times. And I've witnessed it from myself too. If you want, give times where you've done this.

I try not to jump to conclusions so fast because then it breeds anxiety, sadness, anger, and sometimes depression. Or the classic getting too excited too fast, only to come crashing down from cloud 9. Jumping to conclusions can lead to some pretty bad mistakes, too...some that may just change your life or the life of those around you.

Perfect example of the latter...I almost got rid of my kitty Daisy because it seemed like my boys didn't like her at all...and being in such a small apartment, they'd HAVE to mingle and I didn't want to cause so much stress between my kitties. I forced myself to wait another 2-3 days to see if they would be okay...and as it turns out, they now love and adore each other. Luigi even looked worried as I took Daisy to the vet today (he kept looking in her cage and looking up at me, like 'Mama, what's going on?')
Now I can't imagine life without her...I'm so glad I waited! She's my little princess. <3

When people don't reply to my text messages asap, i have a mini panic attack and sense of betrayal...which might loom a couple of days...but now I'm learning that there are many reasons why people don't text back right away, i just am having a hard time to comprehend how some of my friends would like respond after a week or even a month, and be like chill about it, i mean don't you ever check your phone or something???!!! Lols....is it so hard to just reply, "ttyl" or "hey, im busy, chat later", or "im ok". But they are honest atleast, they did mention they are bad in texting. But still i get all worked up sometimes le sigh....

Dude messaged me out of the blue on here asking if I needed up with my blog (as far as coding goes) I tell him, sure..there's a couple of things that need to be done on it. that was 2 or 3 days ago. fast-forward to here today and i haven't heard from him. it could be any number of things. first starters i thought well maybe he's read my posts in Singles and thinks i'm a jerk or since he lives in Pakistan, perhaps he was murdered for the faith. all in all, my mind could take a any number of different routes wit this, but scripture says to take every thought captive so here goes nothing. it really is a good song.

THIS is definitely a pet peeve I have. Like, I know people don't live on phones 24/7...but I've had people text me with 'hey, what's up?' and then nothing after that, even after I respond. It drives me NUTS and has gotten to the point where I would constantly blame myself for them not responding ('did I say the wrong thing?', 'maybe they think I'm not interested...', etc., etc..)

I've gotten a LOT better about it...but it still drives me nuts.

If it were a superpower, then it used to be mine. Fortunately I am growing more relaxed with age and experience, though it still can happen. Self-reflection and shifting my focusing onto the present has really helped. Also, taking better care of yourself can help immensely, since being over stressed, overtired and undernourished really affects a person.

This is good to think about, thank you for asking. :)
