Sleep Paralysis or Demonic attack?

Rejoice and be of good cheer! Jesus has already overcome!

There may be forces at work against us but they will never overcome the power of Christ's sacrifice.

I think sleep paralysis is just being paralysed. Although unpleasant, its not necessarily scary - just frustrating. When in addition to paralysis you see/feel presence/s in your room, or have dreams about demons etc., I believe that's spiritual attack. When it used to happen to me, I found I could always pray in my head (even if I couldn't speak), and things tended to wrap up fairly quickly once I prayed.

It is scary when a large black being is standing over you or dragging you out the door, but you can`t yell or move. Ive had it happen twice, and each time i
managed to with all my will yell JESUS!. It immediately left at the mention of His name.

You cannot live in this world and deny the existence of demons. Did Jesus not cast demons out of possessed people? How else would you explain the satanic actions by many people on this Earth today?

What this world calls 'sleep paralysis', is without a doubt a demonic attack on a person. Cover yourself with the Mighty Blood of Jesus Christ and rebuke all evil demons In Jesus Mighty Name Amen so they can cause you no trouble night and day.

From the time of a young age, I have off and on, experienced nightmares, night terrors whatever one wishes to call them. Occasionally I might experience a good or neutral or just weird dreams. Probably more often than not I do not recall or remember them. At times some are quite vivid, on one occasion I recall waking up to what felt like hands around my neck. It was so vivid I could have sworn someone was in my room, but nobody was there. I recall another time awaking from a dream calling out "Jesus!" loudly. I could go on and on about different dreams and parts I can still remember. I used to sometimes experience what is called "deju vu", it is strange, and anymore if I catch anything like that going on I try to do something different from what I recall, weirds me out.

To briefly answer your questions.

1.) I think so, but I do not know just exactly what the rules are for the spiritual world. There are instances in the Bible, like in the book of Job, where God sovereignly allows Satan to say and do certain things while drawing a line. So I do no think it would be a stretch to think that God allows the sons and daughters of Satan to be influenced or possessed by evil spirits.

2.) Possibly and I could be wrong, but I think possession is fairly uncommon, at least to the extent of being extreme or obvious, though under certain conditions, things come out at it were from people, even surprising, unexpected things. If not possessed, a son or daughter of Satan can be highly influenced, susceptible to demonic activity. We are mostly sensitive to it when we are spiritually aware ourselves engaging in spiritual warfare.

3.) Probably the technically way of describing defining it, but we recognize another aspect in a very real spiritual realm. Always remember that Christ is Lord of the spiritual realm, He drove out many spirits when He walked among us.

A1 ) Yes if you are not born again.

A2) That would mean that you yourself are not born again because if you had Holy Spirit and she had demon then Holy Spirit would overcome it and you would not be troubled .

A3) Or it just was sleep paralysis , i had that myself but since i was born again it stopped so actually maybe that was demon attack .

satanist can indeed ask demons to attack you. Pleading the blood is not what you do. His blood was to make you a son/sin free. So you need to take authority and over that demon and every other one you come across. You dont ask it to go. You comaned it to go in Jesus name. The power is in His name. You have authority as a son.brother/joint aire with Christ. You are called to break the works of satan.

Hello When I first started to follow the lord I experienced this 4 times, a spirit of fear that wanted to remain in control over me, the enemy is a deceiver and when you believe it's lies you in power it, God's word is true and powerful and when you by faith stand on the word of God, that he who is in you is greater than he that's in the world, and perfect love will drive out all fear, start communing with the lord with these scriptures in faith then the spirit will flea, the 4th time this paralysis happened to me I got up and laughed and said "ha ha is that it " I wasn't afraid any more God bless you.

Sin often invites the enemy to our door step. It also blinds the eyes as you walk. Have all your sins(and you will sin) covered in the blood of The Lamb(Jesus) continually so that when you are attacked you will see clearly and act accordingly using The Power and Authority given you in Jesus Name.

I am not getting attacked. Your a son and its permanant. Yes sin invites troble. But you have authroity over all of it.

1) Spirits are motivating principles, not conscious creatures. They are with a person wherever they go. If a person enters your house and they have a dark demeanor or they influence you in some negative way and you wonder about it then you are being influenced by your oen spirits as evoked by their spirits (lol). It may not necessarily be them per-se but your own spirits determine how you interprerthe behavior of others and how it influences tour own mood.

2) the majority of people walking around are slaves to their own internal automatic behavior... so in a sense, most people are possessed by their spirits rather than the other way around.

3) the dream seems like typical sleep paralysis. Its a natural thing. But its also how your subconscious (spirits) make you aware of things.

Its not natureal at all its demonic and it is an attack. expose the liear and he will flee. Its a lie once you realise it has nothing over you laugh at it and move on. they are nothing compared to whats in you. Praise Jesus and it will run from you.

1. Yes. But they take them when they leave. Those "spirits" are human attitudes.

2. Angels do not possess humans. We're supposed to be guilty of our own sin and that is enough. Don't need anyone to help me sin. I do that on my own. Attitude. It's all about attitude.

1) Yes people can bring spirits into your presence and house.

2) Possibly. A demon may remain quiet in the presence of a Christian as they feel threatened and they dont want direct confrontation. They may have wanted to attack you in more subtle ways.

3) I think this question is wrong. I believe sleep paralysis is still sleep paralysis if it happens once or repeatedly (but Im not an expert so). My immediate thought when reading your post was that it could have been a physiological reaction to her presence. It is not unusual to have bad dreams when something happens that you are anxious about and your dream of a dark presence could have been your brain working through your feelings of her being there.

Whether it was a genuine demonic presence or just a dream it will leave you feeling traumatised, especially as you found she had stolen from you after she left. This is likely to affect you for at least a short while after so im not surprised people noticed it. you had just been robbed in your home.

Either way I would pray for the cleansing of Jesus from any spiritual affect of this visit from her and pray and ask Jesus to remove any spiritual influence, whether demonic or natural, to leave you and your home and also to directly command it to leave in Jesus name.

I also saw a post about asking you to pawn some jewellery from her. Unless she is able to provide evidence of where this came from I would treat them as stolen goods and refuse to have anything to do with them. Maybe part of her/the demons plan is to lure you into dealing with illegal activities so that you can be attacked through it. Just imagine if you take it to pawn it and get arrested and possibly put in jail for selling stolen goods.
