I think it can be. Let me tell you something that is still very...remarkable or amazing, from my youth. My family moved at one point to a new town, and our house was right across a parking lot from a little pentecostal church, which kind we had not attended before (or I had not; I did attend a variety of churches due both to our moves and to staying with grandparents during the summer). We started to attend this new kind of church, and it had a preacher whose son was an at-times traveling evangelist, and he came to that church about once a year or so for a week or several, and when he did, he would at the start of his preaching often sit down at the old piano up front and just begin playing and singing words, different every time, like improvisation, but he was inspired. Now, the reason I mention this is that his playing and singing was totally unlike any I've heard anywhere, recorded or live, before during or since, and I listen to plenty of quite a variety. Just totally unlike all other. And...quite powerful and amazing. I don't say that lightly. It would take me out of wherever I was at, a young teenager, and transport me, and pull me in. I cannot describe it well with words, but this is something I wish so much I could hear again. And to him it wasn't the thing, but just something he was doing, as part of his preaching, spontaneously at the beginning. I suppose, it seems to me, as someone who has played a lot of jazz type of improvisation, some of the most amazing stuff I've ever heard. I think it was inspired. There are so many kinds of music, and a huge range of different types can potentially help us.
