Thesun..., I here jealousy and contradiction in your tone regarding the Catholic Church.
Thesun..., If one was stuck on a desert Island with a bible, one would have to thank God that it was the Catholic Church who compiled the Bible guided by the Holy Spirit to have on a desert Island. So the Church that was established on Rock by Jesus Christ comes first, before the Bible.
Thesun..., you stated: "It was one of the first organized churches, but if you look into the bible you will see there were many churches in those days". Thesunisout, what you seem to forget or through your ignorance, is that these other Churches were part of the Church founded on Rock guided by the Apostles.
Thesun..., the protestant reformation should of never happened. What did the protestants reformation do? 1. It took 7 books from the Bible, which is not of God. To say that it was good to take out seven books, from the original bible, is to say that the Holy Spirit who guided the Catholic Church to compile the original Bible was Wrong and therefore, "man" had to take these books away. 2. What else has the Protestant reformation has done? Oh yeah! now there are thousands and thousands of protestant church all with different beliefs but all, like yourself, against the Catholic Church, which you state: "It was one of the first organized church".
Thesun, it is crazy to ask anyone to pray to what Church, that the Lord should lead one to, when Jesus Christ only established on Church founded on Rock. Jesus Christ did not establish Protestantism, man did!
Again, you yourself re: the Catholic Church stated: "It was one of the first organized church". Don't you see your contradiction and Jealousy.
Jesus Christ is not a God of Chaos, but of Order, thus why the First organized Church, is the only Church founded by Christ. Amen
