I found one interesting love story that I would like to share with you all on Valentine's day. It shows real love, which is not the kissy feeling of passion as the world defines it.
So anyway, Kelly Culbertson, a firefighter from California, bought tickets for him and his girlfriend, Christina Kit Kat for her birthday to the Route 91 Concert, which is where the Law Vegas shooting happened. On October 1 2017, which also happened to be exactly 2 years after the Umpqua College Shooting, the couple was enjoying the concert when a couple of loud fireworks sounded and Christina immediately collapsed, complaining she has trouble breathing. Her boyfreind, Kelly, then put Christina on a beer cart to rush her out of the scene, as Kelly shielded her from further bullets. Along the way, they met another firefighter who also happened to be a U.S. Marine. They rushed into a truck that was carrying a multitude of the wounded to hospitals. As Kelly put Christina in the truck, he kept belt her awake and made sure she was still breathing. Kelly even put the oxygen mask on Christina as they went to the hospital. Ironically, Christina was literally shot in the heart. But she survived because the bullets didn't hit major arteries. As Christina was going into surgery, he said to Kelly, "You saved my life."

This is a real example of selfless love. Doing anything g you can go help of save another even by putting yourself at risk. As 1 Corinthians 13:2-8 says, without love, you have nothing. Love gives, love is kind. I especially like what 1 John 3:16-18 says about love. It's willing to sacrifice yourself to save another and it's the greatest love. So this Valentine's Day, and every day, remember what love really means.
