Feelings can be manipulated by being hungry or bad memories, faulty logic or maybe even as a demonic attact against you

You addressing your feelings in an open and honest way is your first step to overcoming them

Do not trust in feelings but rather trust in God

I would be grateful if posters would adhere to the OP's request. Please do not respond unless you are Catholic - meaning a member of the Roman/Latin Catholic Church.

That's very interesting. I would not worry about it. As Rhamiel said, feelings come and go.

Not sure. I pray a St Benedict chaplet daily. Brings me alot of peace. I also wear a St Benedict medal bracelet. Brings me lots of peace. Have you read about St Benedict's life? The devil and his demons HATE St Benedict.
