The point is that the signs of His arrival were supposed to be soo obvious no one could miss them. But the only ones paying attention were Bablylonian trained magicians!
I am in agreement with you about the Mission.
Although I would further state that the purpose of the Mission isnt just conversions or helping those in need. It is also raising up the body to be knowledged in The Word, in Spiritual Battle, in Prophecy, in Discipleship, in Spiritual Authority, in Wisdom, and trained to have the strength of Character needed to always apply that wisdom.
The Churches in America today mistake breadcrumbs for miracles. Leadership in the churches view members with genuine Anointing and Capacity as either competition they want to get rid of, or a tool to manipulate for their own ego.
But true exploration of The Word, to seek out Truths which have not yet been uncovered, that is supposed to be the Joy of Kings. We should be diving in deeper and deeper. Not just reading, but studying. Studying prophecy, understanding it. Studying The Word in its original language to understand what and how much is truly within.
But it seems like the people who claim to be leaders, or the educated, always want to lord over everyone else and belittle their research and discoveries.
Its funny, i recall the Pharisees doing that too.
