Amos 9:8-12 In My anger against the nations, I shall not totally destroy the descendants of Jacob. [All the 12 tribes of Israel] My command was that Israel be scattered among the peoples of the world, but I will keep My eye upon them. Proverbs 5:21, 1 Peter 3:12
I know who they all are. Those who rebel and disobey Me will die.
Ezekiel 20:38 On the Day of the redemption of My people, I will restore the House of David, the leaders of Israel, so that they may possess all of that area named as Mine. This: I your God, will accomplish. Obadiah 1:19-21, Isaiah 35:1-10, Romans 9:24-26

Isaiah 40:26-31 Lift up your eyes on high, consider the Creator of all things. He brings out His host, [people] one by one, each summoned by name, through His great power and strength, none is missing. You Israelites, do not say: Our God has forgotten us. Do you not know, have you not heard, the Lord, the Creator, does not weary and His understanding cannot be fathomed. He gives strength to the exhausted, as even the fittest grow faint, but those who trust Him will get new strength, they will soar as on eagles wings, march and not become tired. Isaiah 27:12

Isaiah 40:26 is usually translated so as to mean real stars, however the chapter commences with; ‘Comfort My people,’ and finishes with the beautiful promise of how the Lord will help His people go to their Land. Therefore in context, it must be more correct to apply ‘ His host’, to the Lord’s holy people and more logical than to think that He summons the stars, one by one, called by name? ...stars set in place, Psalms 8:3

His people: Christian Israelites, from every tribe, race, nation and language, are called out of the nations, soon after this forthcoming Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath and are motivated to migrate to the new country of Beulah. As the other prophets and Jesus say: the Father knows who His people are and He will call them by name for their gathering into the holy Land.

Baruch 4:30 Take heart, My children, He who calls you by name, will comfort you.

Isaiah 27:12-13 On that Day, the Lord will sound a great trumpet and those of His people, who are dispersed around the world will be gathered one by one and will come to worship the Lord in His holy Land. Isaiah 49:6

Jeremiah 3:14 Come back, apostate people, for I am patient with you, I shall take you; one from each town and two from each clan and bring you to Zion. Isaiah 11:11-12

Matthew 24:37-44 As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be when the Son of man comes. The people then carried on unsuspectingly until the flood came and killed them all. This is how it will be when I come next, at a time when you least expect. Then there will be two people working; one will be taken, the other left. Therefore, be ready and keep watch for the Day your Lord comes. 1 Thessalonians 5:4-6

It has always been thought that this passage in Matthew refers to the Return of Jesus in His glory, but a study of Revelation shows that this event cannot be at the Return, as that glorious Day will not be unexpected, because it is exactly 1260 days after the Anti Christ desecrates the Temple. The next prophesied event, that will come ‘ like a thief’, is the punishment of the nations instigated by Jesus and graphically described in over 100 prophesies, as a CME explosion of the suns surface, that will clear and cleanse all the holy Land in preparation for ‘ the homecoming of His people’. Ezekiel 36:8, Isaiah 65:9, Isaiah 49:22, Ezekiel 37:21, Jeremiah 16:14-16, Zechariah 10:8-12

Psalms 2:1-12 Why are the nations in a turmoil? People hatch futile plots and leaders conspire together against the Lord. They say; Let us break free from His rule. But He who watches from His throne, laughs and derides them, then He rebukes them, in His wrath.
God says; I have established My King in My holy place, I have decreed; You are My Son, I am Your Father. Ask of Me what you will, I shall give You the nations as Your domain, the earth as Your possession. You will break them with a rod of iron, so be warned, you peoples, pay Him homage, for His anger flares up in a moment. Happy are those who find refuge in Him!
John 3:35

Isaiah 32:1-8 A ruler and his ministers will reign in righteousness and justice, they will be as a refuge from a storm, like shade from a great rock in a thirsty land.
Jeremiah 3:5, Jeremiah 30:21, Hosea 1:11

Then, those who see, will see clearly and the minds of the heedless people will come to understanding and knowledge. Isaiah 29:23-24, Isaiah 32:3-4

No longer will the fool be called noble or villains be considered honourable All those types will be shown for what they are. Their plans are evil and they deny justice to the poor and needy. But, he who is of noble mind, will make good plans and stand firm in them. Ecclesiastes 8:5b, Philippians 4:8

Isaiah 32:9-14 You complacent people; listen to what I have to say: you may be carefree now, but after many years, your vintage will fail. Be terrified, you without a care, you women at ease will go into mourning – for My people’s Land will be forsaken and deserted, an open pasture for the animals. Psalm 60:1-5, Joel 1:1-20, Jeremiah 10:18

Isaiah 32:15-17 Until a Spirit from on high is lavished upon us. Isaiah 44:3, Ezekiel 37:14
Then the wilderness will become a garden land, everywhere, fertile fields. Justice and righteousness will fill the Land, peace and quiet trust will prevail for that time.

Isaiah 32:18-20 And My people will live in a tranquil country, dwelling in undisturbed peace and security. It will be cool on the slopes of the forested hills, and the towns will lie peacefully in the plains.* Happy you will be tilling and sowing everywhere beside water, your herds and flocks grazing freely. Isaiah 49:9-13, Hosea 2:14-23, Ezekiel 36:33-36, Amos 9:13-15
Ref: Revised English Bible. Some verses abridged.

Chapter 32 of Isaiah, describes beautifully, how the Lord’s Land is cleared in order for His righteous people to live there, as promised to the Patriarchs, and for them to be a “light to the nations”. They will rebuild the Temple, Zechariah 6:15, and send out 144,000 missionaries to proclaim the coming Kingdom of Jesus. Isaiah 66:19, Revelation 14:1-7

Verses 1-8 These verses describe how the Lord’s people will live in justice and in the knowledge of truth, when they settle into all of the holy Land. Jeremiah 31:27-34

V. 9-14 Is the result of the forthcoming, terrifying, Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath, the prophesied judgement of fire mentioned over 100 times in the Bible, that will most severely affect all the Middle East leaving it ‘forsaken and deserted’. Jeremiah 9:10
This has not happened as described in the past, but it will be the result of a huge C.M.E. fireball ejected from the sun and the rest of the world will suffer severe infrastructure damage and deaths. Jeremiah 25:15-33, Isaiah 2:19-21 It quickly passes, leaving the world to recover and the Land of Israel is soon regenerated. Ezekiel 36:8, Joel 2:21-24

V. 15-20 When the Lord’s faithful Christian people are called out of whichever nation they belong to now, Revelation 5:9-10, they will emigrate to the new country of Beulah, Isaiah 62:4, that is: to all that Land promised to Abraham. Then the Lord will send His Spirit upon them and they will live in peace and security. Ezekiel 37:14

Note*; The translation differences of verse 19, some Bible versions say the towns are ‘low’ or ‘levelled’, but the R.E.Bible renders it correctly and in the right context.

Heb 11:15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.

Heb 11:16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

BaBerean, you constantly make the error of mixing the Spiritual with the literal.

The position now with Christians, is their citizenship is kept in heaven; in the spiritual Jerusalem.
That is about to change and all the faithful Christians, all who stood firm in their faith and who call out to the Lord on His forthcoming terrible Day of wrath, will travel to and live in the actual holy Land.
As many prophesies plainly tell us. Isaiah 66:18b-21, Psalms 107, Ezekiel 34:11-31, Isaiah 35:1-10, +

Who is it that says; BLESSED IS HE THAT COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD
Matthew 23:39 & Luke 13:35 For I tell you, you will not see Me again until you say: Blessed is He that comes in the name of the Lord.”
Luke 18:8...when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on earth?

Who are the inhabitants of Israel and Jerusalem at the time of Jesus’s Return?

Zechariah 13:7-9... says how the Lord will judge Judah and the citizens of Jerusalem. Two thirds will die and the remainder will be refined, the dross removed and the remnant will call on the Lord and be accepted as His people. Ezekiel 21:1-7, Amos 2:4-5, Isaiah 6:11-13, Jeremiah 12:14

The House of Israel, the people that we know now refers to every true Christian, Isaiah 51:1-2, Romans 9:6-9, Galatians 3:26-29, are told how they have defiled themselves. Then, how they will be brought out of the peoples and lands where they are dispersed into. They are judged and the righteous will be allowed to enter and settle into all of the Promised Land. Isaiah 35:1-10, Isaiah 62:1-5, Isaiah 66:18b-21, Ezekiel 34:11-31

Note, in v36...the same as I did in Egypt – see also Ezekiel 20:9....the Lord says- how I revealed Myself to the Israelites. That was in a cloud, not as a visible Person. Also the many times it is said; and then they will know that I am the Lord.
Therefore; these judgements are before the Lords Return.

Zechariah 14:1-3 A Day is coming for the Lord to act and plunder taken from you will be shared out, while you stand by. I shall gather the nations to make war on Jerusalem- the city will be taken, houses ransacked and women raped. Half of the city will go into exile, the rest will stay.... Then, the Lord will Return in glory. He will destroy the armies of the nations. Revelation 16:13

Verses 1-2 only fit at the time the Anti-Christ and his army comes to the holy Land, Daniel 7:25, to the new nation of Beulah, Isaiah 62:1-5, 3½ years after he has made a peace treaty with them. He will set up his image in the Temple at that time. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4, Daniel 11:31

Those who go into exile are righteous Israel are the ‘woman’ of Revelation 12. Those who remain must face further refinement and testing. Daniel 11:35 During this 3½ year Tribulation period, the two witnesses will preach in Jerusalem to them. When the two witnesses are killed and taken up to heaven there is an earthquake that kills 7000 people. Revelation 11:13

Those who remain are the royal house of priests, who will reign with Jesus on earth. Revelation 5:9-10. THEY will welcome Jesus as He Returns in His glory, at the end of the Tribulation and the armies of all the nations will be there, Revelation 16:12-14, under the command of the Anti Christ. Revelation 19:19 Jesus destroys them and chains up Satan. Revelation 19:20-21

Psalms 68:28-31 Summon Your power, show Your strength, O God, as you have done before. Kings will bring gifts to Your Temple. Rebuke those wild beasts, scatter those nations who make war. Envoys will come from the other nations in submission to God.
