"Heaven" is described in the Revelation as a new Earth and new heavens with God present among us. It sounds amazing, but why don't you get bored after a few millenia and anxious about the infinite years still ahead of you?
I don’t think we quite comprehend a love that surpasses all understanding. I think this will add so much to our lives and bring us so mNy new experiences."Heaven" is described in the Revelation as a new Earth and new heavens with God present among us. We have no idea what GOD has prepared for us.

Probably for the best though the Bible does give us a few hints.

It sounds amazing, but why don't you get bored after a few millenia....
This universe couldn't please us forever. With infinite time you can actually do everything that is possible, not only once, but infinite times.Well as long as you are not suffering there will be little reason to end it all.
As for boredom, it depends on the type of minds and psychology that we will have in part but assuming minds like we have now more or less, chances are that God will keep on creating and there will always be things to do.
Just think how long it would take to explore this universe if you could live long enough let alone whatever else there may be out there or outside of this universe.
If you are experiencing joy then you probably won't have much to complain about.
Maybe you could just go to sleep for a couple of thousand years at a time and just wake up to catch up what has happened in the meantime before going back to sleep once you started to get bored again.
I agree.I don’t think we quite comprehend a love that surpasses all understanding. I think this will add so much to our lives and bring us so mNy new experiences.
If God created
Such a good life here with beauty, plants, animals and hobbies who knows what great things He is preparing for us.
I'm even more bored and sad hereTruth is our flesh is just addicted to this sinful earth. As much as we don't want to leave it we will be much better off in our next life.
Now to just convince the flesh of that.

I hope He will entertain us enough, or invent new things all the time (even the whole concept of entertainment was created by God)We have no idea what GOD has prepared for us.
Being unconscious or sick for an eternity is much worse. I didn't say I want that.At what point do young adults long for death and decay?
With eternal youth and eternal life -- who would "long for cancer"?
BTW Rev 21 is not heaven -- rather the Holy City comes down out of Heaven - to Earth and the Earth is made new.
Not a literal eternity. There is possibly 2 trillion galaxies with 100 billion stars in the universe. If you explore each for a million years, it takes only 200 000 quadrillion years. The science to explore not just an entire galaxy - but the entire universe of galaxies -- would take a vast eternity
Yes, I will hope that God can keep me from being bored.Hi Fish! I've had this question cross my mind as well. My thought is that God is fully capable of keeping life interesting for us. You know the verse:
but just as it is written, "THINGS WHICH EYE HAS NOT SEEN AND EAR HAS NOT HEARD, AND which HAVE NOT ENTERED THE HEART OF MAN, ALL THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM."
(1 Corinthians 2:9 NASB)
Place your hope in God, who in all His fullness makes heaven what it is!
You're right, and God is infinite in all ways so being in His presence can't be boring even after an eternity.Q: ...why don't saved believer's "get bored" in the heavenly realms for eternity with the TRI-UNE GOD, angels, and other saved believers ??.....
A: the heavenly realms is a SPIRIT kingdom of God/heaven. We are free of flesh: body + soul. We have "spirit bodies" who have their "eyes" focused on Jesus.
Hebrews 12:2
fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God
All believers will have "spirit-bodies" LIKE Jesus the God-Man WITHOUT ANY needs of the "flesh"...
needs of their old deceased Body / Soul combo.
Hebrews 9:27
And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die (BODY/SOUL combo) once
and after this comes judgment,(of immortal SPIRIT)
1 Corinthians 15: 42-49 (NASB) ...Jesus' Resurrection promises all believers a "spiritual body"
Philippians 3 : 10, 20 (NIV1984)
Jesus' "glorious body"
1 John 3:2 (NASB)
2 Beloved (fellow believers), now we are "children of God", and it has not appeared as yet what we will be.
We know that when He appears, we will be LIKE Him,
because we will see Him just as He is.(GOD + MAN)
Romans 6:5 (NASB)
5 For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the LIKENESS of His resurrection,
Romans 8:11 (NASB)
11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you,
He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give (immortal) life to your mortal bodies
through His Spirit who dwells in you.
Ecclesiastes 12: 1-8 ...Remember God in Your Youth...because the Body / Soul deteriorates until death
7 then the dust (Body/Soul combo) will return to the earth as it was (Genesis creation!2:7),
and the (Man's) SPIRIT will return to God who gave it.(Genesis 1:26)
Mark 12:25
For when they rise from the dead,
they neither marry nor are given in marriage,
but are LIKE ANGELS in heaven. (spirit beings)
Revelation 21(NASB)...ETERNAL SPIRITUAL PEACE IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD IS NOT "BORING"!
3b “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men,
and He will dwell among them,
and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them,
4 and He will:
wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will
no longer be any death; there will
no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain;
the first things have passed away.
Guess I'm a boring person then... I'm always bored, no matter what.A universe made by an infinite God could be interesting for a very long time, but boring people can be bored with anything.
