Mat 24:29　 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken

Luke3 21:26 People will faint from terror at what they see coming upon the earth, for the powers in the heavens will be shaken.

The church will not be watching the sun and the moon being darkened and neither will they faint of terror as the stars/asteroids fall and powers of heavens shaken, because the church will be kept from the tribulation of those days.

Rev 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

The church will not be seeing this fake peace transition where people yell "peace and safety" when antichrist make fake peace,
1 Thes 5:3 While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
So the church will not be in this fake peace transition either.

Ecclesiastes 9;12 Moreover, man does not know his time: like fish caught in a treacherous net and birds trapped in a snare, so the sons of men are ensnared at an evil time when it suddenly falls on them.

Man doesnt know the time of tribulation but Jesus who knows it will rescue His people be4 the tribulation caught people like fishes in a net.

Matt 24:40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.
People work in the field when the sun is STILL SHINING and then Rapture takes place !!!

this doesn't validate the notion of a 'whisked away' rapture.

If Christians die for their beliefs at the 5th Seal, that is God/ Jesus 'keeping them from the hour of temptation' - ie bringing them to heaven.

At the 6th Seal / beginning of the Trumpets, living Christians will be physically gathered - on earth. Dead Christians will be spiritually gathered.

the sequence goes:

great tribulation during the seals/ 5th Seal. (which by my thinking is Christmas 2020 since it has to occur at a winter solstice [also the 25th is the 10th of Tevet) before the 'sign of the son of man in heaven' which seems to occur Feb 11, 2021)

great tribulation is shortened - for the elect only which the 6th Seal seems to cap off this timeframe. It continues on for the non-elect, for the people that take the mark of the beast. For the elect that have 'come out of the great tribulation' (Revelation 7:14), they are gathered together and become part of the 200 million army of God at the 6th trumpet. When they are living safely, then Gog will attack them.

The wise virgins with oil will be taken to the Feast of the Lamb but the foolish virgins will be left behind and should they have courage to refuse the mark of the beast they will be killed and their soul will be placed below the Altar AWAITING THEIR FELLOW MARTYRS IN THE TRIBULATION.

The Raptured Church will not see this period of time, TRUTH.............. But the Remnant Church of Rev. 12:17 will see all of these things unless they are Beheaded first.

Also, IMHO, the stars that fall to earth like "timely figs" is telling us, if we listen, that this is a preplanned event and the untimely figs are Angels (Stars) and this is Satan and his Demonic hordes being cast out of Heaven. (Rev. ch. 12 and Daniel ch. 12).

I do not think Stars will fall to earth, look at what one meteorite did in the Gulf of Mexico, it wiped out all of the Dinos and much of life on earth. Nothing like that happens per se.

They just die/beheaded in the tribulation for denying to worship the beast and their souls are placed under the altar awaiting their fellow martyrs who shall be killed in the grief tribulation.

However, the great multitude were taken alive with their head intact.

One side of the planet is always in darkness!

Those "taken" are destroyed in Matthew chapter 24, as in the flood of Noah those "taken" were destroyed. (Matthew 24:37-40)

Agreed. There is a lot of stuff in the sky to fall like meteors and space junk. My speculation is that at the rapture, when Lord Jesus appears in the clouds, it will cause a big, worldwide EMP, disabling the satellites causing them to fall.

You have to get with the Imagery that Revelation is providing to understand it.

I think the church will be watching, and i think the church IS watching. I think that i'm watching the "darkened" sun right now, and it looks like it's getting closer.

I think that we are going to see the "darkened" sun and the stars falling. The stars are falling for us. Each one of us will have an angel to gather us from the four winds of heaven when the fig tree sheds it's winter fruit. We are the winter fruit from the good basket. The stars will be in a controlled flight like sky divers on a mission from God.

I think that the days are shortened already on the front end. And that when it begins, it will be over before you know it. The pre tribbers won't be disappointed. The Abomination is happening right now, right before our eyes. It's standing too close for us to see, where it ought not to be and not everything is what they told us it would be.

The falling away culminated with the man of sin taking his seat in the last remaining holy place, the daily was taken away in Heaven's Temple, the Abomination was set up, the two witnesses were given their power and the composite beast opened it's mouth to blaspheme the name of God and those who dwell in Heaven. We are only awaiting the fire that he will cause to fall from heaven which will be the catalyst for his revealing at the sounding of the fifth trumpet.

2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Absolutely, one side of the planet is always in darkness, but when the rapture takes place, the sun will still be shining as two will be working in the field.

Those "taken" by the Ark were saved.

The word "took" is used in the text of Matthew 24 describes "them" who were destroyed in the flood of Noah.
You have got it backwards.

Mat 24:37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Mat 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

Mat 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Mat 24:40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
