Apocalypse

I have written about The Apocalypse before. Every time it gets better. What is an Apocalypse?

From Oxford Dictionaries: the complete final destruction of the world, especially as described in the biblical book of Revelation.

From the Greek: "an uncovering" ", "a vision of heavenly secrets that can make sense of earthly realities" "An opening of the eyes."

The Bible States:

37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (Matthew 24:37-39.)

Socratic Paradox. If everyone believes that are doing what is right or in their best interests, how can evil exist? Satan exists. Satan is a liar and deceiver, and he skews people's perspectives. He gives false senses of reality.

Your average Christian may do wrong or sin knowing it was wrong. Some people do wrong, and then they work to justify a wrong. They lie about their wrong. They lie to themselves. They lie to others. Given speak a lie enough it becomes real? Satan is a liar and deceiver. Some lies become peoples realities.

Son of man, these men have set up idols in their hearts and have put their sinful stumbling blocks in front of themselves. Should I actually let them inquire of me? (Ezekiel 14:3)

Lies and false idols and false belief blind us to God.

18 For God’s wrath is revealed from heaven against all godlessness and unrighteousness of people who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth, 19 since what can be known[m] about God is evident among them, because God has shown it to them. 20 For his invisible attributes, that is, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen since the creation of the world, being understood through what he has made. As a result, people are without excuse. (Romans 1:18-20)

Some people would rather believe lies than deal with the Truth. Ignorance is bliss. The Truth Hurts. Knowledge brings sorrow. (Ecclesiastes 1:18)

When someone is arrested, and is guilty, and they are sitting in a room for questioning, what do they often do? Do they tell the truth? Do they fess up? Do they most often lie? Even if presented with evidence someone may double down on that lie. They want their phone call and a lawyer.

I live in Durham, NC. Last week there were some protests over confederate statues. I was at a bar down the street. At this bar, previously, I have drank and talked with a man who says he is a gay atheistic Jew who went to Rabbinical School. He works for, or the company he works for, is tasked to the Southern Poverty Law Center. We have had some interesting conversations. I work to reveal to him the Truth. In the face of the Truth, God is self evident, he often buckles down. He works to change the subject. He is very stubborn and hard headed. I have been learning the best way to Apocalypse someone.

At this bar last week I also talked to someone who claimed that he was not at the rally, but would have been if he did not have to work. I would describe him as a Confederate Gentleman. He also believes in lies. He believes these lies are truth. He has a false reality. I worked to explain the Truth to him. He told me there was no such thing as Truth. I held back on him. I have made the bar uncomfortable a few times talking about God, and out of respect for the bartenders I try to keep it to a minimum.

Both men have a false perspectives and realities. These realities are lies that blind them to God. There is one Truth. Jesus Christ is the shining light of the World. Christians are children of the Light and not the Darkness. (Ephesians 5:8) Darkness is lies. Truth is light. Someone who believes in lies is in the dark. Jesus tells us to reject The World. The World is a World of lies and deception.

Saint Nickolas

The following is based on your understanding of the following article: Badass - Saint Nicholas

God has a Rod and a Staff. He has a Staff leading to Good things, his Kingdom and Joy. He has a Rod of Misery for when you get off track. Do you feel comfortable in-between? The Lord is a Shepherd. (Psalms 23) Notice in the article you have Santa in Red giving good presents. You have Santa in Black with a Rod, and he beats the bad children with a rod until the cry. In The West Santa is known to give good presents to good boys and girls. He gives bad ones a coal.

5 Keep in mind that the Lord your God has been disciplining you just as a man disciplines his son. (Deuteronomy 8:5)

Spare the Rod Spoil the child.

Given you ever talk to an atheist about Christmas they may mention Krampus. Krampus seems to come from Germany. He was known as a demon that was some how parallel to Santa Claus. Why is that? Satan is a liar and deceiver. He has a paintbrush. There is one Truth. There are things of God that get twisted or corrupted. There may be some truth to it. There is gunk on it. You see through the darkness with the light of The Lord.

Another example of this is Asopes Fables. I would bring your attention to "The Aesop's Game" that God revealed to me. There are allegories for things of God in many, if not all of the Aesop's Fables. I don't know for sure. God did have me get that deep into it.

Another example would be The North Wind and the Sun. What is the North Wind? In Hebrew Spirit is wind. God breathes life into Adam. The Spirit of God could be like wind. The Sun would be The Son of God. Jesus Christ is the Light of the world. The sun shines on the just and the unjust.

Shabbat.

The following is something God gave me today. I wake up, and one of the first things I hear is Shabbat. I look it up. Here is an article on Shabbat which is the Jewish Day of Rest: Judaism 101: Shabbat

From the Article: In Jewish literature, poetry and music, Shabbat is described as a bride or queen, as in the popular Shabbat hymn Lecha Dodi Likrat Kallah (come, my beloved, to meet the [Sabbath] bride). It is said "more than Israel has kept Shabbat, Shabbat has kept Israel." (Judaism 101:Shabbat)

The Son of Man comes as a Bridegroom looking for a Bride. To best understand why, someone may have to look at scripture more and the Prophet. Jeremiah was told not to marry. (Jeremiah 16) God takes Ezekiel's wife. (Ezekiel 24:15-25) Why does God take Ezekiel's Wife? It had something to do with Ezekiel 16 and Ezekiel 23. God is long suffering. Man is made in the image of God. Some prophets are called into suffering. For a man to really understand how God feels, he may have to do some hard things.

Ezekiel is Son of Man.

Jesus Christ is Son of Man.

The Son of Man comes as a Bridegroom looking for a Bride.

Jesus Christ is Lord of the Sabbath.

Also see Parable of the 10 Virgins. Also see Parable of the Wedding Banquet.

Jesus Christ is Lord of the Sabbath. Jesus Christ was a Bridegroom looking for a Bride. Jesus Christ was virginal. Foxes have dens and birds have nests but the son of man can find no place to lay his head. Working this Hard.

Apocalypse Now!

Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy." (Revelations 22:11)

Given The New Testament and Parables like Parable of the 10 Virgins and Parable of the Wedding Banquet, not everyone is going to see the Son of Man.

I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." (Matthew 8:11-12)

Some people are wicked and practice wickedness. They may be entrenched in lies. They were not vigilant. They may not get the reward. For God to give a sign there would have to be a wicked and adulterous generation. There had to be mockers and a falling away.

The Day of the Lord comes as a thief in the night.
