Prayers for Ending of Torture Worldwide

Torture is a subject that is deep on my heart. I would like to pray for the ending of torture worldwide. Torture is a horrible form of violence which completely destroys people. The world would be a beautiful place without torture.

Dear Jesus,
I would like to pray for those who are being tortured right now. I would like to pray that they are comforted and that you rescue them or give them a swift death. I pray for the torturers that their hearts will be changed and that they will stop torturing people. Jesus I pray that you remove all torture from the earth and comfort all those effected by torture.

I agree with you. Sadly it probably wont happen until the new Kingdom. It still makes me feel better to pray for it sometimes. A world without torture would be so lovely.

I pray for the ending of torture worldwide. So many people have been broken by torture. I pray for the victims and torturers- that both find healing in you.
