22 Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me. - John 21

Peter wanted to know what was in store for John... And Christ Jesus basically said it was none of his business and for Peter to follow Him.

I don't believe that suicide is an automatic ticket to hell. Assuming someone is saved to begin with, suicide is a sin like many others, and Jesus has saved us from our sins - past, present, and future. So the only question is, was the person saved to begin with?

There is one idea that to kill oneself is murder, and does not allow the chance for repentance, so the deceased cannot enter Heaven. But others say a person may still repent in their last moments, or even after death, and be forgiven. Still others say they can go to heaven, but receive a lesser reward because they did not live a life full of good works.

There is another idea that most people who kill themselves do it out of extreme distress or mental illness, so it would not be not a sin. The person who committed suicide is a victim of an illness, not a conscious sinner.

And, of course, there are those who disagree with the categories of going to heaven and going to hell, such as Christian Universalists. Only God knows.

A lot of people will say I am wrong, but I believe you will find heaven is not a place, but rather the peace of mind that descends on us when we repent of our sin. When we die, we pass onto the resurrection.

I will not speculate on what goes on between a person and the Lord during the last moments of their life, but I think that is where you will find your answer.

The Bible isn’t clear on suicide so people shouldn’t come to conclusions. I don’t know, and you don’t know. Il tell you who does know. Both God and Kim.
What we should do as believers is trust God in every situation, clearly suicide by a Christian isn’t trust.

If Jesus told about eternal life a lot, then something is up because our physical lives ain’t eternal, their 75 years average

I read about that. I hate he died...

One thing I know for certain is that he served satan, not God, during his lifetime.

Suicide is murder. Murder is against the Commandments. What does it mean to say 'He is a Christian"? It means he is obedient to the Almighty and His Son.

My concern is that maybe you are feeling suicidal at this time in your life. I pray you will get whatever help that is best for you, if that is so. Sometimes life can be pretty painful but why jump from a temporary frying pan into a permanent fire?
