Why would the world mourn when they behold Jesus appear on the cloud ?

Rev 1:7 Behold, he cometh with the cloud and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him.

People will cry when they see Jesus appeared on the cloud because Jesus will not come to bring peace and prosperity to the world but to take the believers and leave the world behind in the Grief Tribulation. Deep inside their hearts they know something very grief is coming.
OTHERWISE THE WORLD WILL NOT BE CRYING.

However, the antichrist will then appear to make peace deals and defeat many, probably ending the WW3.

Especially the 7 years Peace Deal between Israel-Arab enemies

The world will then experience the total peaceful world they have never known before (because the devil will stop all the wars he is making) that they all will be amazed.

They who pierced Him are among those who see Him. It is they that mourn. It is a reference to the conversion of the Jews. They will recognize in the final persecution of Christians, that these people artheir own. In a manner and type revealed in the following scripture. Imagine Saul as the Jews and the resurrected Christ as the future coming in Glory.

Acts 9 suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. 4 He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” 5 He asked, “Who are you, Lord?” The reply came, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.

Paul was persecuting Christians. Jesus told Paul that persecuting christians was persecuting Him. At the end, the whole world will be persecuting christians. among them are Jews. The christians suffering persecution will be praying for their enemies and as their suffering increases their witness becomes more powerfull. When the Jews realize that the christians are suffering for their salvation, since they are the only people left in the world to save (the gentiles have been saved) When the Jews understand that they have rejected the Covenant and the faith and consequently their own fulfillment. The Christian church will be as their only child that they themselves pierced. They will mourn and recognize Jesus as their savior.

Nobody knows the timing of the Rapture so the world will mourn because they shall be left behind.
Rev 1:7 “Look, he is coming with the clouds,”and “every eye will see him, even those who pierced him”; and all peoples on earth “will mourn because of him.”

The Parable of foolish virgins clearly indicates that Jesus will fetch His bride at the unknown hour.

But at the 2nd coming of Christ there will be no more virgins awaiting Him but the DEVIL AND KINGS OF THE WORLD WILL KNOW THE DAY as they will be prepared for the Armageddon battle.

The timing will be like this:
1. Pretrib rapture occurs......Like the days of Noah...They were eating and drinking and marrying and giving in marriage until the day that Noah entered the ark.........7 days before the flood.
2. Antichrist is revealed at the 1st seal
3. Seals 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 occur in order.
4. At the 6th seal the sun will be darkened, moon gives no light, stars fall from heaven. This is the same as Matt 24........Immediately after the tribulation when all eyes will see Him.
5. Pre wrath rapture occurs.....Like the days of Lot.....The very day Lot leaves Sodom, destruction occurs
6. The Wrath of God is poured out....7th seal
7. Christ returns with His saints on white horses

Just curious....when humanity has settled other planetary bodies in the solar system and nothing prophecied in the revelations has happened do you feel these events will still reach orbital habitats in Venus, various asteroid bases or mars habitats even if they are not mentioned any way?

Or do you just think that humanity will never get that far?
