In a roundabout way, this is an acceptance that Israel exists and has a right to exist - it has to exist in order to not be recognised! Once again the PLO shoots itself in the foot!

I think the realisation of the physical impossibility of having Jerusalem as the Capital City for two States is beginning to sink in with a number of countries, if not to Abbas et al.

This conflict has only one solution and only one can make it a reality. Just like in the days of old, before Israel when into the land G-d had promised, the Philistines raged a spiritual war.

It is not of flesh this is happening but in the Spirit.

But it's not just the Philistines who oppose Israel today, there is still Amelek, and the Edomites, all are at enmity with Israel.

It's pretty obvious the Arabs don't want peace infact every war was started by the Arabs and every peace was rejected or violated by the Arabs contrary to popular belief. PLO never renounced violence infact PLO even admitted every peace they made with Israel was just a secret way to forward their cause of Jihad against Israel. Who will speak for all the Christians slaughtered by PLO in Lebanon. Only one state in the Middle East allows complete religious freedom and tolerance it's called the State of Israel.

This has been in the news ever since Trump declared Jerusalem the capital of Israel. So far, it just looks like a threat.

Of COURSE they aren't interested in a two state solution. They never have been.

Been the capital of Israel since the late Bronze Age been the capital of an Arab country called Palestine since about 30 years or less.

The title of this thread gives the impression that Palestine has changed its position of one that is positive towards the state of Israel to a more recent change of attitude that is negative towards Israel. Nothing can be further from the truth. They have always had a negative attitude towards the state of Israel's existence.

Palestinians never wanted peace with anyone and occupied Lebanon and nearly destroyed it all in their quest to form yet another failed Arab state in the Middle East and only Israel answered the cries of Christians being slaughtered in the South of Lebanon which earned them my undying respect. May peace happen between the best countries of the Middle East, Lebanon and Israel.

There is no country of Palestine. There has never been a country called Palestine. There is a territory called Palestine. It has existed since Judea was overthrown by the Romans and renamed. It has systematically been occupied by various different nations, such as the Ottoman Empire, the English, the Israelis... But it has never been its own country, and so never had a capital city.

The name Palestinian itself means invader since it comes from the Hebrew word of Philistine used to denote the ancient enemies of the Jews who came from the Aegean Islands. The British even used the term Palestinian to denote all inhabitants of the land even Jews and Samartians it only became a figure head for Arab nationalism recently.
