Annotated: White House justification of President Trump's racist remarks
(please excuse the swearing in the statement) :sorry:
In a meeting today with lawmakers about restoring protections for immigrants from Haiti, El Salvador and African nations, President Trump was reported as asking, “Why are we having all these people from [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]hole countries come here?” The White House released the following statement regarding the report. For accuracy and context, the SPLC has annotated the statement:
tulc(MAGA by talking like he's still in that "locker room"?)

They are [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]hole countries. Haiti's GDP per capita is less than 1.5% of the US's GDP per capita. If you actually cared about people in such countries then you would be concerned about the problem, not simply whining about people who are pointing out the problem exists.

Typical liberal, always exploiting the poor for votes.

Most people know what "s---hole countries" means ... it means countries where the conditions are s---house due to violence, corruption, poverty, etc. It may be a comment about a country's leadership and forces within that country, but not a comment about all the people who live in that country.

I notice how so many people want to really make this about the countries: I understand why, if people acknowledge that he wasn't actually talking about the countries all that's left is having to admit you're supporting your grouchy old uncle who sends out those spam emails to every member of his family from all those crazed websites he subscribes to that tell him about the secret FEMA camps and the "children slavery" rings being used to populate and build bases on Mars. Sorry, that's not even sort of what President Trump is talking about: he's complaining about the people coming to America. He wants more European people and less...NOT European people. But it is kind of fun watching people try and spin this to mean something else. :tutu:

money, or a lack of it does not make a place a [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]hole. Its the quality of the people who live there. My parents did relief work in africa and their experience was that the people they met their were often muh happier than their american and canadian commoner acquantances.

But what prevents people from making money? Corrupt governments, crime, poor sanitation, laziness, etc.

No one said all individuals in the counties are a problem, but clearly the majority are. If the majority of the people were great then the results would show.

Not spinning anything. I agree with exactly what you said, but I would add more context. Statistics show that most mexican, arab, and africans, are high crime, welfare dependant, big-goverment, selfish people. For example, Whites make ~70% of the country but only 10% of the FBIs 65 current murder fugitives. Foreign-born Hispanics makes up 32 of those 65, and native born Hispanic another 10. Hispanics are extremely violent as a whole, but liberals are fine with letting them in without vetting because they know they usually vote big-goverment.

European whites are the least violent, but they need to stay and fix their own countries. If they abandon their own country to come here then even more of the world becomes a [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]hole.

I am very much for helping poor people, but trying to solve it with immigration is like trying to solve homelessness by inviting everyone on the street to live with you. [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]hole countries need an honest government that is willing and able to enforce laws so honest people can start businesses, provide for their family, and build an economy. If libs want to help that's what they would do, but all they want is votes so that's why they like immigration from [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]holes to America and Europe.

Cool stories bro, when you find some proof for all those assertions, there may be something to discuss in there.
tulc(is a big fan of proof) ;)
I did give you proof. GDP comparison, FBI murder fugitive statistics. Per your usual MO you just close your eyes and stick your fingers and pretend it never happened.

Grass is green. Do I need to provide you a link to the Wikipedia articles for grass and green for you to not cry that I didn't provide proof? Go to worldbank.org or fbi.gov or just do a Google search if you're really that concerned I'm making stuff up. As usual, you're just making exuses because you have no argument to rebutt mine.

If I was so inclined and had the time I'm quite sure that I could dig up a dozen or so clips from movies made by Hollywood liberals where a place like Haiti or some South American or some African nation was referred to as a "3rd world s--thole" or a "3rd world toilet".

We hear it all the time unless we live in a monastery. Usually it's said by liberal actors who are the first to condemn Trump for using the same term he's undoubtedly heard them use.

Now I'm not commenting on the appropriateness of a Christian saying those words - even though I must admit that I have said the same words a few times in my 70+ years.

What I'm saying is that the faux outrage being displayed by the left either over the words themselves or some imagined racism they want us to believe is the reason behind anyone saying that is pure hypocrisy.

I'd love to see the likes of Robert De Niro or Harvey Weinstein be confronted with a clip of them using the same words and watch them have to retract what has obviously been a mere excuse to bash Trump. Not that they would be honest enough to do that.

This term was used in a private meeting and for the likes of Dick Durban (or anyone here for that matter) to feign outrage about it is nothing short of lying.

Any charge that Trump was displaying racism in his remarks is nothing short of lying. We aren't supposed to do that as Christians.

Whether anti-Trumpers such as we have will admit that I am right in my assessment is doubtful though. They probably aren't much more honest that the Hollywood liberals and news caster in this - even though they are supposedly Christians.

This thread, like many other Trump outrage threads before it, is nothing but politics as usual.

No, that's just stating what everyone, who's not invested in protecting President Trump no matter what can clearly see in what he said.

We aren't supposed to do that as Christians.
we aren't supposed to do a lot of different things, pointing out when someone's doing something we think is wrong isn't (in my opinion) one of those things.

Whether anti-Trumpers such as we have will admit that I am right in my assessment is doubtful though.
We probably would if you were right, but just because you don't like/agree with what's being said, that isn't actually what determines if your assessment is correct. :)

They probably aren't much more honest that the Hollywood liberals and news caster in this -
Who you have failed in to show to be either wrong or dishonest I might add. Wait...you do understand that just because you don't agree with them that doesn't actually prove they're being wrong or dishonest, right?

even though they are supposedly Christians.
Are you saying that people are only Christian when they are in agreement with your opinions and if they don't agree with you you suspect they aren't real Christians? Because I don't think that's how it works. :sorry:

This thread, like many other Trump outrage threads before it, is nothing but politics as usual.
hmmmm...a thread about President Trump and there's some sort of political aspect to it? Who could have seen that happening...no, really. :mmh:

Trump's language was coarse - and is widely agreed with in much of America.

His ideas are basically correct: this nation, and all developed nations have to protect their borders and their cultures, what we've done to date hasn't worked. The people voted for a Wall, so they should have their Wall. Straightforward and to the point.

Those who want something different will, of course, oppose and complain. That's always expected of the political opposition in every case.

Once all of the hoo-hah dies down I expect what we will end up with is the following:

(1) Funding for and construction of the Wall.
(2) The "Dreamers" get to stay.
(3) "Chain" migration will be curtailed.
(4) Enforcement of citizenship identity by employers.

Illegal immigration will decrease, immigration patterns will shift somewhat, and there will still be a great deal of immigration. Mass deportation will not occur precipitously, but there will be considerable deportation of illegals.

Nobody will be happy. Hardly anybody ever is anyway.

While you may disagree about merit based emigration - you and I both know that there is nothing racist about calling a third world toilet a third world toilet a third world s..thole. To say anything different is to purposefully defame another person. You should be ashamed of yourself. But I'm quite sure, after watching you work for some time now, that you are not.
we aren't supposed to do a lot of different things, pointing out when someone's doing something we think is wrong isn't (in my opinion) one of those things.
When you lie about what he is doing simply because you disagree with his politics or because you dislike his manner - it is sin plain and simple. I don't expect you to confess it and repent. That doesn't seem to be your style.
We probably would if you were right, but just because you don't like/agree with what's being said, that isn't actually what determines if your assessment is correct.
My assessment is perfectly correct as anyone who has watched many spy movies could attest to.
Who you have failed in to show to be either wrong or dishonest I might add. Wait...you do understand that just because you don't agree with them that doesn't actually prove they're being wrong or dishonest, right?
I don't have to dig up a dozen quotes from a dozen movies to prove that I am right. If you were honest - you would agree with my assessment. Unless, of course, you have been living under a rock and don't go to movies of that sort.
Are you saying that people are only Christian when they are in agreement with your opinions and if they don't agree with you you suspect they aren't real Christians? Because I don't think that's how it works.
I am saying that people who play games such as you are playing and who feign indignation in order to defame another person are quite likely to be either lying or not a true Christian in the first place and therefore don't have the where with all to know what they are doing.
hmmmm...a thread about President Trump and there's some sort of political aspect to it? Who could have seen that happening...no, really.
There is a difference between pointing out political differences you have with another person and slandering them. You cross the line quite frequently here in the forum and most observant people know it by now.

Understanding this obvious truth about you and your agenda is true for those who support Donald Trump's presidency and also for those who do not (if they are honest before God).

By the way - your silly and childish "tulc" game is beneath the dignity of any serious Christian who wishes to come to the knowledge of truth through honest discussion IMO.

You seem to me to be a shallow person playing silly games in a forum where serious things are meant to be discussed.

I can't do anything about it. But in my opinion you should be ashamed of yourself -if you are a true Christian.

hmmm...I see people are still trying to spin this to be about countries and not about the people from those countries. Well good luck with that. It's not true, but I understand why they try and spin it that way.
You should be ashamed of yourself. But I'm quite sure, after watching you work for some time now, that you are not
Shouldn't I have to be wrong in order in order for me to feel ashamed?

When you lie about what he is doing simply because you disagree with his politics or because you dislike his manner - it is sin plain and simple.
You do know, at some point you're going to have to point out any of the "lies" you keep insisting I'm telling, right? So far it's just been you insisting I'm doing so with out actually showing where those "lies" are.

I don't expect you to confess it and repent. That doesn't seem to be your style.
Wow...now I have a style! Sweet! I'll admit to the style, but since you can't point to where I lied I'm going to thank you for pointing out the style but decline repenting for being right.

My assessment is perfectly correct as anyone who has watched many spy movies could attest to.

I don't have to dig up a dozen quotes from a dozen movies to prove that I am right. If you were honest - you would agree with my assessment. Unless, of course, you have been living under a rock and don't go to movies of that sort.

So in your mind, those are the only two options? How about this: I'm right president Trump said something stupid, and now you're forced to have to defend him by pretending I'm lying? Of the three? My moneys on the third option. :)

There is a difference between pointing out political differences you have with another person and slandering them. You cross the line quite frequently here in the forum and most observant people know it by now.
Wow...I have a following? Sweet, part deux!

Understanding this obvious truth about you and your agenda is true for those who support Donald Trump's presidency and also for those who do not (if they are honest before God).
huh, a style, a following and now..."an AGENDA!!". Man you're going to turn my girlish head with all these complements! :swoon:

By the way - your silly and childish "tulc" game is beneath the dignity of any serious Christian who wishes to come to the knowledge of truth through honest discussion IMO.
Let me see if I have this all now I have: a "style" a "following" an "agenda" and to top it off a "game"? Gee if I had a coffee named after me I could be...A BRAND NAME!!. I'm actually feeling a little honored. :sorry:

You seem to me to be a shallow person playing silly games in a forum where serious things are meant to be discussed.
Well, I work out and try and keep in shape. So thanks for noticing. :flatt:

I can't do anything about it. But in my opinion you should be ashamed of yourself -if you are a true Christian.

Prioritizing skilled immigrants over refugees should be the issue being discussed, but as usual, the Left must scream racist, bigot, etc to silence free speech.

Should we continue a limited refugee program that helps a small minority to escape "s---hole" conditions, or direct funds into an increased effort to help solve problems at the source?

Most people would probably argue for a "balance" - just what the balance should be needs to be discussed openly without the Left trying to shut down conversation with their usual pc rubbish.

Wait...I thought we were talking about President Trump, not spy movies..................... You do know, at some point you're going to have to point out any of the "lies" you keep insisting I'm telling, right? So far it's just been you insisting I'm doing so with out actually showing where those "lies" are.
No - since I entered this thread you and I have always been talking about how others, including those in Hollywood use the same words all of the time. We have been talking about how disingenuous it is for liberals (including yourself) to feign outrage when Trump did it.

Leftists have no racist agenda when they say the same words and it's dishonest to pretend that Trump does.

I know you read my original post and know about the spy movies reference and where I'm coming from with it.

To pretend that you don't know what I mean is disingenuous - which is, according to Jesus, the same as lying.

There's an example of your lying and it's the last one you'll get from me. Examine your own heart.
.....I'm right president Trump said something stupid, and now you're forced to have to defend him by pretending I'm lying?
No one said that President Trump didn't say something stupid.

I'm not "forced" to do anything. Nor am I "pretending" that you're lying. You just gave an example of your doing so in the first section of this post.
huh, a style, a following and now..."an AGENDA!!"
All one has to do to see the truth of your agenda is to look at all of the threads and posts attributed to you which defame and undermine Donald Trump.

To pretend that you don't is more duplicity. (There's a bonus example of your lying.)
tulc(is finishing his coffee but he raises his cup in salute to all his followers out there!) :coffee::coffee:
"Tulc" is like a bad little boy who can't admit when he's done wrong.

The difference is that you are old enough to know better and you have a bible which tells you that you are sinning by lying.

(And - yes - I capitalized tulc because it's the first word of a sentence - just as you should do.)

I won't suspend the rules of grammar just to placate your childish internet alter ego.
