Make a song called "Too late for love" and girls would be running to you screaming!

Def Leppard already did (which is why they were brought up at the beginning of the thread).

Wow lol Once I grow my hair out, get tattoos and start a knock off band of Def Leppard then the ladies can’t get their hands off me :p

Well, first of all, I'm not sure what that Basil guy is talking about. If you're still on this Earth, the Lord might still have someone He's preparing for you, age aside. Secondly, Matthew, you're only 22. These feelings are going to come and go as you get older if you find yourself around different groups of people.

For the life of me, I've never understood why single adults try to surround themselves with married couples. They're in a different phase of their lives than you are. Just gotta accept that, unfortunately. It just means the Lord is jealous for you and wants more time for you to grow closer to Him while He prepares you and a potential mate for one another. Marriage isn't something to be rushed into and requires dedication, commitment, and basically every trait we Millennials lack. So He has even MORE work to do. Ha!

If it makes you feel any better, if you're still single in 10 yrs, it's only harder to find other singles in the Church. Trust me, I know from experience. In any event, I dunno if you're in College Station down near Tuscaloosa, but if you are, Roll Tide! You have a sister in Christ who's praying for your heart to be put at ease while you traverse this difficult time in your life.

Thank you big time @pinbackbsc04 ! Praise God that these things are possible. And I am glad these feelings are normal, as I have a tendency to fixate on feelings and push them back. I just need to let them roll like a Crimson Tide! :)

And I appreciate your advice about spending time with married couples. There were plenty of them at my last church I attended, plus a large group of people eager to rush into dating. No wonder I was feeling inadequate in that environment. And thanks for your humorous perspective! This is inspiration for me to concentrate on my relationship with God, not girls.

I think you got the wrong home state, but my school is in the same conference and division as the Tide, and as a football fan, I am very excited about their recent victory. Let the Good Tides Roll! ;)
