Yes, we went to church today.
No, our Pastor did not mention Trump.
And never does.
Preached gospel straight from the Book.

M-Bob
Just so you know, in case this was not clear, my pastor did not mention Trump by name. But we all knew who and what he was talking about.

And he did preach gospel straight from the Book. He talked about John 13:34-35: A new commandment I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so also you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.”…

Another gospel straight from the Book:
Matthew 25:4-45
0 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

The Word of God is a beautiful thing.

those who have knowledge of the history of this country and it's people's sentiments towards African people will find such comments by the president of this country of no surprise.

it's par for the course, especially for alleged "evangelicals".

racism among US evangelicals

" I try to lead a life where I don't have to ask God for forgiveness .....
Why do I have to repent? Why do I have to ask for forgiveness if you're not making mistakes?"
-Donald Trump, CNN 07/22/2015

1 John 1:8-10
8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.

America evangelicals, in their infinite wisdom, have made an "unholy alliance" with the one President who least reflects Christian values!

The net result is that they are forced, on a regular basis, to defend the indefensible - all the while steadily eroding their Christian testimony in the eyes of the American public!

This reflected in the above cartoon, which is just one of a many openly questioning the decision by the "Religious Right" to support this President - whose core values they perceive to be anything but Christian!
