What would you do in this situation?

What should the Christian response be whenever you see a crime take place? Would you physically or technologically intervene or would you do nothing? I guess those who do nothing are fearful to intervene, I don't know. Hopefully, I would try to intervene. I never understood how people can do nothing when they see a crime take place. For instance, there was this young lady who is a Lyft driver, was assaulted and robbed by two women. This crime occurred recently; several people, good Samaritans, tried to intervene and stop the assault. The assault was so vicious the victim could not watch the attack take place. Here is the article (with video), below:

It's hard to sort out what is happening sometimes. You have to be very careful or you could get in serious legal trouble. Helping this woman would have required a violent intervention that might have caused serious injury to the perps. Now if a life is at stake you have a duty to intervene if you are able and won't endanger yourself.

The video shows a half-hearted attempt to help her that was quickly thwarted by the attackers. One needs to have an intervention plan or technique already prepared in their mind. I would favor the running dropkick, or the windmill hair pull. Either would have taken these attackers out quickly without seriously endangering yourself.

I guess people have different comfort levels and consciences...I would have to go to the aid of the victim.
I personally don't think video helps stop the crime, it just helps with arrest and conviction.
As far as the Christian thing to do?
You'll get every response you can imagine. Some here have insisted police, service men and women, etc can't be Christians. I don't know if that extends to good samaritans.

What about the Cobra Clutch or the Atomic Leg Drop?

It's tough to say what the right thing to do is because each situation is so unique. I would do everything possible to help but I'm not sure I'd give everybody that advice. It depends on what your physical abilities are to defend yourself if the situation got even uglier.
