Fair enough. Personally, I consider that to be a non-issue since we all keep secrets all the time in other aspects of our daily lives and also, I don't find anything in Scripture that is critical of it. However, I can respect your thinking there, even if the "so called" secrets that you are referring to are similar to the internet passwords and Social Security numbers each of us keeps to ourselves.
Well there's this one
Luke 8:16 "Now no one after lighting a lamp covers it over with a container, or puts it under a bed; but he puts it on a lampstand, so that those who come in may see the light.
And this:
Matt 10:27 What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim upon the housetops.
And this:
Luke 11:34-35 The eye is the lamp of your body; when your eye is clear, your whole body also is full of light; but when it is bad, your body also is full of darkness. Then watch out that the light in you is not darkness.
There are lots of others I'm too lazy to post them all.
