In reference to the OP, I think the most hilarious part of Moore's entire bleat was this treasure:

So, in other words, if the head of the world's 1 billion+ Catholics tells you you're wrong, a man in charge of the largest Christian body in the world, an institution 2,000 years old which cares for the spiritual and temporal needs of millions of people on a daily basis---if
he tells you you're wrong, well, that's bad----but
even worse, if the
Dixie Chicks line up against you, well, buddy-boy, you might just as well throw in the towel! I mean, these are the
Dixie Chicks we're talking, here! How much more influence or credibility do you need? Anybody with half an eye can see that they certainly outweigh the Pope! Let's get our priorities straight here, people!
How anybody could give the slightest bit of credence to anything Michael Moore has to say is totally beyond me.
