Reconnecting with my dad

Father I pray for both this woman and her father, that You will restore this relationship to good standing and good feelings, just as You have the relationship I have with one of my own daughters. I pray that both will be lead of Your spirit to see the proper thinking and behavior they should each have, and that they will yield to the steps of being both right with You and with each other. I pray for this woman, and those times of feeling like breaking down, she will remember that she is in a spiritual race, and that like those in bicycle races there are times when a drink needs to be taken. I pray that she will learn to take those long, spiritual drinks that are often needed. I pray that she will not allow herself to become spiritually dehydrated, by not spending the proper amount and quality of time in proper prayer and proper reading of Your Word. I pray that You would provide for her some good Christian fellowship to spiritually support her in prayer and counseling in this time of her life. May she thirst for You and Your Word (Psalms 42:1-2; 1 Peter 2:2) and grow strong in You by drinking deeply and often. Amen.

I need prayer that I can eventually reconnect with my father after he took my now ex husbands side during divorce. He won’t talk to me ever sense I started the divorce I tried and tried to stay in the marriage as long as I could even trying counseling but just couldn’t bare it anymore. I go through times I feel everything ok then at other times I wanna break down.

Father, I pray that You will make a way for reconciliation between this daughter and her father. Soften both their hearts and give them Your love for each other. Give them Your desire for them to walk in peace and forgiveness that they may enjoy fellowship not only with each, but with You as well.

Praying for a reconnection with your father, but that whatever happens you will have peace and healing.
