Hello, I would like for some people to pray for one of my friends. Her parents are from Vietnam and are Buddhists. They are also very controlling over her. One day they found out she went to a church camp and started to believe in God, and she told me they were screaming at her for weeks straight. She told me when they were screaming at her, they looked like they had devils in them.
She has to hide everything from them. Her bible is hidden up in her closet, because they search her room when she leaves. They don't appreciate her. They always talk down to her, about her intelligence, and her body. It made me cry when she told me all of nasty things her family says to her.
We started praying with each other recently. And I would like some other people in Christ to pray for her too. And that she would draw near to God. Sometimes she doesn't understand me, because Vietnamese is her first language, and she didnt get proper schooling for English. I want her to have a deeper relationship with God, but it's hard to talk about things like that because she doesn't understand me sometimes. Also prayer for her parents!!
