We know that all mankind are fallen, we all bear the stain of Adams sin.
But Jesus came to redeem a people for Himself with His blood. Ephesians 1:7

Believers in Jesus, those who have accepted His Salvation, are now people from every tribe, race, nation and language. Revelation 5:9-10 But God originally chose a people group to be the ones who would be His Witnesses and to display His Light to the world. Those people failed in their task and were ejected for the holy Land in two dispersions.
Those of the second diaspora; the Jewish people have come back to a part of the holy Land, but still in unbelief and apostasy.

The Bible tells us in many prophesies; that all of Israel, who are by now an uncountable multitude, will return to the holy Land and will fulfil at last, God's plan for them.
The New Testament tells about a symbolic Olive Tree, one that has had all its branches removed. That Tree is Jesus and all who believe in Him, will be grafted into that Tree.
So whether we Christians are actual descendants of Jacob or not, the people who will fulfil God's Plan for a righteous people in His Land; will all be Christians.

In fact being born into the Kingdom, as the Jewish people purport to be, seems to be undesirable! Matthew 8:11-12 Many will come from the East and the West and sit with the Patriarchs....but those who were born to the Kingdom, will be thrown out......

Zechariah 9:14-15 The Lord will appear over His people and His weapon of judgement will flash like lightning. His war shofar will make a great sound, accompanied by a terrible whirlwind. The Lord will protect His people and they will exult in His deliverance.

Zechariah 10:1-12 For now, your false gods and idols give empty promises, dreams and delusions. So My people are left to wander about, like sheep and distressed for the lack of a proper shepherd.
The Lord’s anger burns against the leaders of His people, they will fall on the Day of His wrath.
For the Lord will care for His flock, He will strengthen the House of Judah and save the House of Joseph. From Judah will come the leaders that will be My battleaxe and they will rout the enemy, because I am with them. The warriors of Ephraim will exult and rejoice in the Lord’s victory and in their deliverance. The families of the Lord’s people will see and be glad with what the Lord has done.

The pride of the nations will be brought low, but Israel’s strength will be in the Lord, they will march proudly in His Name.

He will whistle and call them in. His redeemed people, though now in far off lands, they will answer the call. They will return to their heritage, bringing their children with them. The Lord will bring them home from every nation around the world and He will lead them into Gilead and Lebanon until there is no more room for them all. They will pass through rivers that will dry up for them to cross.

The Lord will give rain in due season, grass in the fields and fruit abundantly. On the Day the Lord takes action, He will save His flock. For they are like precious gems in His crown, they will sparkle all over His Land. What wealth is theirs! What beauty! Good food and drink will give health and strength to the young men and women. Ref: REB, CJB.

This prophecy reiterates the great promise of God to His righteous people, whether they are true descendants of Jacob or grafted in Christians. The Lord will protect them on His great Day of judgement and punishment of the nations, as He brings down the pride of His enemies, but the strength of all true believers is in the Lord. He will be revealed to them and will direct them into the Holy Land. 2 Thess. 1:10 This is not the Return in glory, to come later.
All of that area given so long ago to Abraham, will be burnt, devastated and depopulated by the Lord’s Day of wrath – lightning flashes, great noise, earthquakes and powerful storms - as described here and in other prophesies as a coronal mass ejection, explosion of the sun, that will affect all of the world, but primarily the Middle east region. Zephaniah 2:4, Ezekiel 30:1-5, Amos 1, 2 Peter 3:7

Ezekiel 36:8 But you mountains of Israel, put forth your branches and bear fruit, for the homecoming of My people is near.

This and many other prophesies say how the Lord will send rain and the holy Land will quickly regenerate into a Land of plenty and prosperity, ready for the great emigration of all the Lord’s Christian peoples. Psalms 107 They will live there as the rest of the end time prophesies unfold and it is them who say: Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord! Be ready for the whistle!

Happy are they who give their allegiance to the Lord:
Isaiah 56:1-2 These are the words of the Lord; Maintain justice and do what is right, for My deliverance is close at hand and My victory will soon be revealed. Happy is the person who follows these precepts and holds fast to them, who keeps the Sabbaths unprofained and his hand from all wrongdoing.

Isaiah 56:3-5 The foreigner who has given his allegiance to the Lord must not say; The Lord will exclude me from His people. The eunuch must not say: I am naught but a barren tree. The eunuch’s who keep My Sabbaths and choose to do My will, holding fast to the covenant, will receive from Me something better than children – a memorial and a name within My Temple. I shall give them everlasting renown.

Isaiah 56:6-7 So too, with the foreigners who give their allegiance to Me, to minister to Me and love My name and become My servants. All who keep My Sabbaths holy and hold fast to My covenant; these I shall bring to My holy Mountain and give them joy in My House of prayer. Their offerings and sacrifices will be acceptable on My altar, for My House will be called a House of prayer for all nations.

Isaiah 56:8 This is the word of the Lord, who gathers those driven out of Israel;
I shall add to those who have already been gathered. John 10:16

This Bible passage, written by the prophet Isaiah, gives a wonderful promise to every person – regardless of race, colour or gender. The promise of the Lord, to give them;
Joy in My House of prayer

In verse 8, it shows that this will happen after all the faithful Christians, [the real Israelites of God] have gathered into the Land. Ezekiel 20:34-35, Jeremiah 30:10
Also as in verse 7, the Temple will have been rebuilt by then.

Isaiah 66:18-21...I am coming to gather peoples of every tongue. They will come to see My glory. I shall put a sign on them and will send them to preach the Gospel to all the peoples that have not heard of Me. The 144,000 Revelation 7:3-8
From every nation and by every means of transport, My righteous people will come to My Holy mountain, Jerusalem, just as in ancient days, the Israelites brought their offerings to Me. Some of them, I shall take to be priests and Temple Levites. Revelation 5:9-10

Isaiah 63:7-10 I shall tell of the Lord’s unfailing love and of the great things He has done for His people, in His compassion for Israel. He said: surely they are My people, they will not be false with Me. So, He; Himself delivered then from their troubles. He carried them through all the days of old. Yet, they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit, so He turned against them and allowed enemies to conquer them.
God chose and prepared a nation that would be His friends and a witness about Him to the world. Sadly, they rebelled against their Maker, so their punishment was exile. This was to be for a defined period, Ezekiel 4:4-6, Leviticus 26:18 and now we look forward to the gathering of all righteous believers into the Holy Land, be they actual descendants of Jacob, or grafted in as believing Christians. Romans 9:6-9, Galatians 3:26-29

Isaiah 63:11-14 When in exile, they recalled the days long past and how Moses shepherded his flock through the sea and into the Promised Land, by the power of the Holy spirit. Thus, You led Your people and thereby gained everlasting renown.

Isaiah 63:15-16 Look down from the heavens – Your lofty throne and see us, Lord, for You are our Father. Where now, is Your zeal and Your valour, You are withholding Your compassion from us. Even though Abraham may not know us and Israel does not acknowledge us, You, Lord, are our Father and our Redeemer from of old.

Abraham does not know us and Israel does not acknowledge us”, Our true ancestry is lost, but whether we are Israelites by descent or by faith in Jesus, we can still call our Father and Redeemer of old. All of todays Christians, from every nation and language. Isaiah 51:1-2, Isaiah 56:1-8, Revelation 5:9-10

Isaiah 63:17-19 Why, Lord, do You let us wander from Your ways and harden our hearts, so that we no longer revere You? Turn again for the sake of Your servants, the peoples that are Your inheritance.
Why have enemies trespassed on Your sanctuary? Why have our enemies trampled the Land? You have not ruled over them, they are not Your subjects. We are Your people from ancient times, Your servants and witnesses.

Our prayer for today:
Psalm 106:47 Deliver us, Lord our God, and gather us from among the nations, so that we may give thanks to Your Name and make Your praise our pride.
Reference: Revised English Bible. Some verses abridged.

Isaiah 49:14-23 Zion says: The Lord has forsaken me. The Lord says: Can a woman forget her child? I shall never forget you. I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands. Your dwellings are always before My eyes.

Your people will hasten back, while your enemies depart. Look around, your children gather and come to you. They will be as ornaments in the Land.

Once the Land was desolate. Your enemies are now far away. The children born while the Land was occupied by foreigners will now say: This place is too small for us. Zion will say; who bore these children, when I was deserted, where did they come from?

The Lord says; I shall signal to the nations, they will carefully transport My people to their Promised Land. Kings will be your sponsors and great people will serve and honour you. You will know that I am the Lord, none who trust in Me will be disappointed.

Zion: The holy Land, forsaken and desolate, Jeremiah 22:6-7, Hosea 4:3, that is how it will be after the next prophesied event: The Lord’s Day of vengeance and wrath, an explosion of the sun, directed at the Middle East that will clear and cleanse the entire area. Currently most of the holy Land is occupied by atheists or false religion worshippers. The Jews will be judged, Zechariah 13:7-9, Ezekiel 30:1-5, Hosea 4:3, Zephaniah 1:18, 2 Peter 3:7

‘the enemies depart, they are now far away’: Psalms 83 and Micah 4:11 tell us how the surrounding nations and entities all hate Israel and want to ‘wipe them off the map’. Those attackers will all be killed, some by their own weapons; Psalms 7:12-16, and the rest of the inhabitants will flee. Jeremiah 49:4-5 & 35-37

Your people will hasten back’: A part of Judah has returned, but very few are true believers and Judah now faces judgement. A remnant will survive in Jerusalem. Isaiah 6:13 All true Christians are now the Lord’s people: Romans 9:24-26, Psalms 24:3-5, Malachi 3:16-17

The Lord’s people, all those who put their trust in Him’: Christians from every race, nation and language, will be gathered and transported to all the area from the Nile to the Euphrates. Isaiah 66:18b-20, Psalms 107, Jer. 23:3-4, Zechariah 9:16 On that Day their God will save them, they will sparkle like jewels in the Land.

‘The Promised Land’: will be regenerated and become fruitful. Joel 2:21-24, Psalms 126:1-5

Ezekiel 36:8-12 You, mountains of Israel, put forth your branches and bear fruit, for the homecoming of your people is near. Isaiah 51:3

Isaiah 35:1-10 Let the desert be glad, let it flower and rejoice!...Be strong, My people, fear not: your God comes to save you with His vengeance and retribution. Then; understanding will be given to all who couldn’t see or comprehend the Prophetic Word.

A highway will appear and by that road, the Lord’s redeemed people will travel into their heritage. His holy people, set free will enter Zion with shouts of praise for their Redeemer. Gladness and joy will come upon them and suffering and sorrow will be gone.

Psalms 48:11-14 The hills of Zion rejoice, Judah’s cities are glad. Walk about the holy Land, count the towers. Note the fortifications and buildings, so that you can tell about them to the coming generations. For this God is our God, our guide and protector, now and forever.

Psalms 69:35-36 For God will deliver Zion and rebuild the cities of Judah. The children of those who serve Him will inherit the Land and those who love His Name will dwell there.

Isaiah 55:11-13 You will go out with joy and be led forth in peace....the Land will rejoice at your coming. Reference: Revised English Bible, some verses abridged.

That all this happens before the Return of Jesus in His glory, is made clear by Isaiah 49:23,
you will know that I am the Lord’’. First, His people will gather and settle in all of the holy Land. Those who serve the Lord will inherit the Land. Psalms 126:1-5

All this is prophesied will happen as they prepare for the eventual Millennial reign of Jesus.

Ezekiel 11:17-20 I shall gather My righteous people from among the nations and give the Land of Israel to them. I will give them a new spirit so that they will conform to My statutes and keep My Laws. They will be My people and I will be their God.

Although some of the House of Judah has returned to a portion of the Promised Land, they have not fulfilled God’s plans for His people. That is; to be a light to the nations, His Christian people in the world, preaching the coming Kingdom of Jesus. The Jewish people are not destined to build the third Temple, this awaits the gathering of the Lord’s righteous people. Zechariah 6:15

Many prophecies speak of the final judgement of Judah: Ezekiel 21:14...swing the sword of slaughter three times... First: Babylon, second: Rome, third still to come. This is the result of Matthew 27:25 and the fulfilment of Luke 19:27, Jeremiah 17:1-4

Matthew 21:40-43 The Owner of the vineyard will come and deal with the bad tenants, He will bring those criminals to justice. Jesus quoted: The stone that the builders [the Jews] rejected, has become the main corner stone. [Jesus] Therefore, I tell you, the Kingdom of God will be taken away from you [Judah] and given to a nation that bears the proper fruit. Amos 2:4-5, Jeremiah 13:19, Isaiah 3:8-9, Zephaniah 1:4-6, Psalms 118:22-24

We who have been brought up on New Testament precepts of “love your neighbour” and peace and goodwill toward all, have some difficulty with verses such as;
Nahum 1:2 The Lord is a God of vengeance, He will punish His enemies.
Deuteronomy 32:41-43 When I set My hand to judgement, My sword will devour flesh, I will punish all those who hate Me and will cleanse My peoples land.

Luke 3:16-17 ..He will baptize with the Holy spirit and with fire. His winnowing fork in His hand, He will gather the good grain into the store, but the chaff will burn forever. Isaiah 33:10-12
The Lord is the potter, it is His creation, His aim is to have a people who freely choose to love and serve Him. Isaiah 29:16, Romans 9:22-23
All the Lord’s people, Christians who believe in Him and keep His Commandments, will enter the new country of Beulah, Isaiah 62:4, after this terrible worldwide judgement of fire. Revelation 7:9 They will join up with the Jewish remnant that will survive in Jerusalem. Zechariah 13:8-9, Isaiah 4:3 Those citizens of Beulah will receive the great blessings as promised to the Lord’s people and will live in the Land in peace and security until the time of the Anti Christ. For 3½ years, they will go and live in a place of safety, Revelation 12:14, referred to as Bozrah; [Hebrew = glad tidings] the sheepfold, then to go back at the Return of Jesus for His Millennial reign. Matthew 24:31
