They have no sound basis to their lives. Jesus Christ is the way the light and the life.
Prayer is the way to Jesus.
It does not matter what others do or how they seem. What matters is your soul and eternal destiny. You choose light and life or darkness.
I take no notice of atheists. They deny God. That is their choice and does not have to be yours. Remember appearances are deceptive.
I personally cannot live a breath without Jesus.
What have atheists got to offer you?

The wicked only appear to prosper. Those who actively deny God are destined for a lot of trouble. Not peace and light and love.

Internal pain may or may not show on the outside.

It depends on what you think success is measured by.
Objects, material things in this world, or eternal life where there is no pain or tears, only peace and happiness.

You have to remember that atheists don't believe in anything but the fact you get one life, so live it
However, as a Christian and knowing that God does exist that there are certain things in the world we are to abstain from. I ask you to pick which you life you would prefer in some of my statements below. I hope this puts you at peace.

Atheism vs. Jesus Christ

Sleep with as many partners vs be faithful to one partner

Live a life gaining money vs I will provide your daily needs

Buy matirials to feel happy vs having matirials to use

Latest fashion to fit in vs not bothered what others think

Have to have a worldly status vs my status is I'm Gods kid

Needing feedbac from people vs knowing who I am in God

The world tells how I look vs it doesn't matter how I look

Afraid of dying vs looking forward to dying

70 years if lucky of living free vs a life devoted to Christ

Can't take a thing with you vs can't take a thing with you

Having no hope vs a promise of hope

Eternity in hell without God vs eternity in heaven and God

Hope this encourages you not to fall for worldly deception

What's eating you up? Sometimes Christians impose needless burdens on themselves in the belief that it is God's will.

The fact you say you have a mental illness and you live by, to and for it says it all. Your letting your mind tell you what you are. If it told you jump off a bridge, would you??
Stop dwelling on the fact you think you have a mental illness, the fact you claim to acknowledge one shows that in all high possibility, you don't. What's exactly going through your head? What have doctors diagnosed you with? I'm here to help by the way, I just have ways of cutting through the bullwhip

Being sane, godly, or good has nothing to do with being a Christian. Believing that you are a lost sinner and that Jesus Christ has died to forgive you all your sins, does make you a Christian.

You need to get in touch with some good preaching pastoral guidance, and Christian counselling.

First, you are right in your thinking. You cannot love somebody if you can't love yourself.
Ok, you don't feel loved and I know exactly why that is. You mention your own family are stone cold. They have little or no love in them so how were you ever supposed to feel and know what love is?? Don't let this stop you from experiencing it. Don't expect the world to show you neither, the world is isolating people, not uniting them. Still, push on through.
How bad is your schizophrenia? Is it conditional or is it more of a grieving in your heart for not having love so you lash out?? If so, it's not schizophrenia, it's a longing so badly to be loved.
You might not believe me, but kids brought up in an unloving home tend to be messed up in adulthood. That doesn't exactly label you as a physco. Am I on the right road with you?? We can take this privately if you prefer?

Why are you being cold with your family? If it's unforgiveness you have in your heart, don't expect God to help you. " Forgive and I will forgive you, judge and I will judge you" I'm just trying to paint a picture here

Humble yourself before God and tell Him, you are in a bad place. Ask Him to release you from such hatred and reveal what love actually is. His perfect love

My prayers are with you man. Just try and think that you deserve nothing but to die in your sin. Jesus died to set you free. Be thankful for everything. Develop an attitude of gratitude and you will be surprised how it will change your thinking brother.
