Trump Can’t Believe No One’s Thrown a Parade in His Honor

Someone should celebrate that Trump has rescued this country out of the garbage can that Obama and his administration threw us into. Of course the death and disease people are hell bent on destruction they are not interested in life, liberty, blessing and prosperity.

Trump is not feeding anyone anything. It is the press that is feeding people and you are correct in your assessment of what people are getting fed.

And what exactly has Trump done that he said he wouldn't do? What has he done to hurt this country?

3 Trillion more in the economy - oh that is terrible
Tax cuts for everyone, largest in 38 years - more money in your pocket is a bad thing
Securing the border, keeping out drug runners and gangs - that is bad too
Vetting travelers and people coming from known state sponsored terrorist countries - oh how evil and racist
Taking a firm stance against maniacs like N Korea - we should placate them like all the others and help them build more weapons.

The MSM and the entire political establishment continues to attack him on all fronts 24/7. Never in the history of this country has there been a concerted effort to destroy an elected President.

I would hope he not feel the necessity for a parade to his honor.

I am sure that the Muslims are not happy that trump wants to ban them from coming to america. It is his job to drive the trouble makers out. (The sons of Ishmael) Otherwise they will "become barbs in your eyes and thorns in your sides." James Comely claims there is no way to vet them out.

Who does a bill- which gives tax cuts to the wealthy and middle classes and child tax credits to the lower class (which barely pays any taxes)- hurt?

Funny thing is that Venezuela and N Korea are also on the list and clearly are not Muslim. So, it is not a so called racist travel ban as the media would tell us.

The worry people have is it's a short term gain for most if they benefit; then long term it's only long term gain for some. Most of the tax cuts are for high income and corporations, and then what tax cuts were had for Middle and low incomes expire. Also the reason it does expire is because it adds more to the deficit and debt, potential future revenue increases annually are less then what's initially added and accumulates from interest on debt.

One isn't required to make tax returns public when they run for president- of course, I believe Rachel Maddow "leaked" some, only to find that he paid more in taxes than Bernie Sanders, a "leftist hero".

This whole notion that the press is engaged in a large-scale effort to deceive is rather implausible, to put it mildly. We really need to sit back and ask which is more likely:

1. The mainstream American press - not the press of the USSR or China - has suddenly abandoned its respectable decades-long tradition of responsibly challenging those in power; or

2. A demagogue - one with a history of being a slick wheeler and dealer - has taken advantage of perhaps understandable discontent in the American populace and is now in the White House.

Each reader can come to their own conclusion. For my part, I think the American people got conned. But I am hopeful and confident this will sort itself out in November 2020.

I would say just the opposite that it is impossible that they were ever honest and truthful and did not always deceive people. Yet the fact remains that today they have lost all credibility and at one time they were considered to be creditable. Exp people like Walter Cronkite who was considered to have very high standards and incredibility. Even some of the old timers that are still around were highly regarded at one time. It just goes to show how far people can fall when they are not willing to take a stand for the truth. Somewhere along the way you have to be willing to put your life on the line for what is good and right and proper and true. Matthew 16:25 "For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it."
