Grapes on Di-Vine

John 15:1
I am the true vine, and My Father is the husbandman.

I'm amazed when looking at the organic union that constitutes our abiding! Christ is the true vine that we are branches of while our true gardener=husbandman is God, the Father! I'm amazed at the riches provided for the soil that we grow in that produces expressions of the di-vine life! The husbandman, the cultivator of the soil, the landowner, patiently awaits thru all the seasons of growth for the fruit to appear on the branches.

Jesus' teachings for discipleship have the outstanding revelation of 'blessedness'. His noble character makes it known that His intention is to make us happy/blessed. Whatever the seasons bring are of inestimable value in the Father's discipline because they carry the intention of His blessings upon us.

I used to think that having and doing are what makes one human but it's just being that does that. The power of God that blesses is His noble character flowing thru, in season and out. That's what produces character and eventually destiny. It seems that our participation called for to weed this garden of all that is not conducive to growth. Sometimes it's difficult because I can have many convictions but truth isn't always behind those convictions. It's work to just be true to myself. Cooperation in cultivating character is the complimentary work to His provisions of soil, root and vine, sunshine and rains. His infinate tenderness toward His garden as well as stern upheaval when the weeds are in need of pulling up. Weeds allowed to grow in thought soon turn to following after evil and lead outside the garden of our husbandman. Blessed are they that are cultivated in this manner to suffer thru character contrary to the world of doing and having. Bloom where your planted knowing that you're in the hands of the gardener who's only intention toward you is for good.

The Holy Spirit agreeing with the human spirit that we are the children of God should really be the only assurance of belonging to the family of God needed. But we're given much more assurance than that of His love and protection for us. Christ is leading His own as we flee into the safeguard provided Hebrews 6:18 our strong tower built into the middle of His garden, Proverbs 18:10, Psalms 61:3, Mark 12:1 the heavenly throne that we're boldly to go to to be cleansed daily.

Our only enemy is doubt.
Hebrews 3:6
But Christ was faithful as a Son over His house, whose house we are if indeed we hold fast the boldness and the boast of hope firm to the end.
Hebrews 4:16
Let us therefore come forward with boldness to the throne of grace that we may receive mercy and find grace for timely help.
Hebrews 6:18
In order that by two unchangeable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we may have strong encouragement, we who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us,
Hebrews 7:19
(For the law perfected nothing), and, on the other hand, the bringing in thereupon of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.
Hebrews 10:23
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope unwavering, for He who has promised is faithful;

We often speak about 'knowing' ... that witness of the Spirit on our spirit that helps us to grow in faith with every new assurance.
I came across an exert of something someone ( Edward Elton) had written in the early 1600's that said it so well. He was from the old Puritans.

"I take it therefore that the witness and the testimony of the Spirit he has spoken of is an inwardly, secret and in an unspeakable manner informing our hearts and inwardly persuading us that God is our Father, and pouring into our hearts a secret, wonderful and unspeakable sweet sense and feeling of God's love for us. Not of God's ordinary or common love, but of His special and Fatherly love, that God loves us with such love as He bears to His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, in Whom we are adopted to be His children. As the Lord Jesus Himself speaks in that excellent prayer of his John 17:23 that God loves us, we believing in Christ as He hath loved us. And to this purpose the Apostles speak plainly Romans 5:5 the Holy Spirit of God given to us doth infuse and pour into our hearts a sense and feeling of God's love to us in Christ."

Revelation 12:11
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto the death.

One of the Christological pillars build on the foundation of Christ is that of the word of our testimony. That paradigm that defines convictions as each of life's lessons given has built up to include fuller understandings of Him and convictions that have developed due to the place of privilege found in abiding.

When we can say with conviction that our debt is paid, standing justified, forgiven, spared of wrath, spiritually healed, spiritually alive, knowing one day we will acquire a spiritual body, been made clean and have the power to overcome the enemy. Knowing that the blood of Jesus has provided the solution to all of those problems because of the blood's redeeming power. The curse has been broken. Our testimony is the witness thru each glorious truth on our journey home to our Lord and our God.

2 Corinthians 5:16
No longer, then, do we judge anyone by human standards. Even if at one time we judged Christ according to human standards, we no longer do so.

ETA

Paradigm in this latter rain isn't of Traditionalism, or that of Fundamentalism or of the Salvational/Endtimes paradigm which were very much a product toward the defensive rejection of the Age of Enlightenment. The earliest church was more than literal and more than factual. The way is of returning to what mattered most. That of the former and latter rains. Joel 2
In Trust and Loyalty I believe in the Spirit of Grace thru Jesus of Nazareth in the paradigm of conviction plus witness/testimony of experience during the process of sanctification. (what that testimony entails is according to His revelation to each individual believer) More than an acknowledgement of literal facts is the death of self and new life lived in prayer, praise and a clean conscience provided at the throne of His Grace, as the the Lord's finished work provides and will continue to provide. That's His work that we're to trust Him for as He leads us Home as He has promised. The Lord of the Promise that's being worked out in us, thru us and for us.

Paradigm of word/conviction/witness of truth= agreement in the human spirit with the Holy Spirit= responce to conviction= responsibility to allow conviction to have it's way.

Luke 1:20
And behold, you shall be silent and not able to speak until the day that these things happen, because you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled in their time.
2 Corinthians 4:13
And having the same spirit of faith according to that which is written, "I believed, therefore I spoke,'' we also believe, therefore we also speak,
Exodus 4:11
And Jehovah said to him, Who gave man a mouth? Or who makes him dumb or deaf or seeing or blind? Is it not I, Jehovah?

The spirit of faith is not distinctly human spirit nor is it the Holy Spirit but the union of both. Faith is in the spirit and not in the mind. Doubts are in the mind. Living a crucified life as the apostles and earliest church did in the spirit of faith and life in resurrection power, they were able to carry out their ministry.

Psalms 116:10
I believed, therefore I spoke; I was afflicted greatly.

Hebrews 13:15
Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise
—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.

The pathway that Jesus took while on earth comprised of transcending every circumstance to touch the Father in praise. Following Him in praise our spirits also transcend up to the heights of heaven, soaring in praises. Praise is the path to victory! Praise brings us higher than even prayer can because praise is gratitude that transcends human logic, in dire times and at all times. Our life demands praise! Isaiah 38:18, Psalms 146:2

Praise soars above inner wounds. In praise our belief soars above the doubts. Offering Him praises puts the enemy to flight! Acts of the Apostles 16:25, Psalms 106:12 Praise opens doors to victory! In praise the army of the Lord was led into the battle having the musicians leading first! 2 Chronicles 20:20-22 Spiritual warfare depends on praise! It's the only way to even the odds! Our habitation is different from the high places of old that were an abomination to God. We have come to the heavenly Zion in our praises!

Praise, as a spiritual offering, leads our whole being to new heights. In praise faith soars to sit with Him in the heavenlies. In praise numbness turns to love and peace is received.

When you're facing any trouble turn to God, lay your troubles before Him asking for His will to be done and saying “Your Name is above all, Lord Jesus, my praise is to You alone!” in the heart and from the lips 2 Corinthians 4:13 and believing that you will receive His grace, mercy and a cleansed conscience. Because that's what He said He'll do! Therefore, in grace, we will stand in all boldness. This is the principle of praise.

1 Corinthians 13:12 Seeing God’s glory, even dimly, belief is established. As His glory fills the spirit so praise is possible. In seeing and believing we can say “Lord, You were always right.” But we must also praise the Holy Spirit in acceptance of any corrections. God’s work and love are contained within every move of the Spirit’s discipline. Psalms 25:8, Psalms 100:5, Hebrews 12:5

Praise's basic ingredient is faith. As new creation children, children of the promise being kept, He reveals to us His Truth. Galatians 4:28, 1 John 2:25, Revelation 4:11, Romans 1:20
Having seen His mighty hand that's brought us here thus far, on little or much faith, we offer our praises to Him and faith is strengthened. We can know that He will see us thru right till the end. Praise God! Grace will lead us home!! Praise is trust in His work expressed in action.

Trumpeting-Gods-message.jpg

"Thank You, Lord Jesus. I love You!" (is my everyday praise followed by meditation on His Word)

Psalms 119:164
I praise You seven times a day
for Your righteous rules.

Psalms 22:1-3
My God, my God, why have You left me alone? Why are You so far from helping me, and from the words I cry inside myself? O my God, I cry during the day, but You do not answer. I cry during the night, but I find no rest. Yet You are holy. The praises Israel gives You are Your throne.

Ezekiel 43:7a
and He said to me, “Son of man, this is the place of My throne and the place of the soles of My feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the people of Israel forever.

Since our abiding with Him where He is in the heavenly Ephesians 2:6 and His abiding with us in never leaving us alone or forsaken in our journey thru life, awareness of Him in all of these matters, (knowing Him with Whom we are to give an account Hebrews 4:13 ) is of course advantages. It’s the risen Lord in power. Our overseer and Bishop. 1 Peter 2:25 who, thru true knowledge of Him, He has given all that we need for a godly life. 2 Peter 1:3 (also in confirming one’s calling)

When looking at the praises contained in the prayers of His priesthood kingdom 1 Peter 2:9 it becomes evident that it’s virtues that are being shown forth. Strong's Greek: 703. ἀρέτη (areté) -- moral goodness, i.e. virtue
Because He dwells in His people's praises He also dwells in our acquired virtues produced on the vine of His love.

1 Peter 2:25
For you were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
Hebrews 3:1
Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, whom we acknowledge as our apostle and high priest.

Prayers should to be one with Christ. We need to join Christ and be one with Him in His intersessions. His prayer should be our prayer, His intersession our instant prayer. Stirred up by the Spirit and subdued under God's authority, we need to pray with Him on the throne of heaven. Direction of our prayer must be toward the building of God's house. Being identified with Christ in prayer is being one with Him. As He prays in the heavens, we pray together with Him. When praying this way we're stirred in our spirit by His priesthood and subdued by His Kingship, mingling our spirit and prayers with His to bring about the Kingdom within, around and to come. We need to care for God's building of His body, having Him as the head ( for if we make ourselves the head then the body is become fleshly) Praying this way gives us the needed support to sustain prayer life. In ourselves we're not able to sustain a prayer life and we need to recognize that. We lack perseverance to pray always all during the day. Calling on His name, the Name above all Names, "Lord Jesus" , in every instance, guarantees His saving grace (those who call upon the Lord will be saved) and it maintains Oneness with Him at the throne of grace. The solid base of Christ, His priesthood and Kingship within the building of his tabernacle preserves the prayer life for us to endure. When we're heavy from flesh weighing us down, He will lift us up. The flesh can't be improved no matter how long we've been a Christian, but remaining mingled with God at His throne in the name of Jesus will lift us to the throne also as His desires become our desires and we work together to bring about His Kingdom.

Ephesians 2:15
By abolishing in His [own crucified] flesh the enmity [caused by] the Law with its decrees and ordinances [which He annulled], that He from the two might create in Himself one new man [one new quality of humanity out of the two], so making peace.

Christ, through the Spirit, creates the new creation to bring about God's plan on earth. Christ as the head and the church as the body: this is the highest aspect of what Jesus accomplished on the cross. Christ, the Husband and the church, the bride, becoming one flesh.

The ordinances where abolished to create the two into one being.

Ephesians 3:10-11
[The purpose is] that through the church the complicated, multifaceted wisdom of God in all its infinite variety and innumerable aspects might now be made known to the angelic rulers and authorities (principalities and powers) in the heavenly sphere.

This is in accordance with the terms of the eternal and timeless purpose which He has realized and carried into effect in [the person of] Christ Jesus our Lord,

The church (as the body) is the witness to the angelic beings of what God is doing on earth.

Unity of His Body is so important. The Spirit and the bride say "come, Lord Jesus"

Genesis 1:26-28
26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
Psalms 8:5-6
5 For You have made them a little lower than the angels,
And You have crowned them with glory and honor.
6 You have made them to have dominion over the works of Your hands;
You have put all things under his feet,
Hebrews 2:8-9
You have put all things in subjection under his feet.”
For in that He put all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not put under him. But now we do not yet see all things put under him. (mankind) 9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.

What is not true of mankind because of the fallen world is true of Jesus today and every day since His ascension. Only our identification with Him in two becoming one can effect the change into the new covenant. Jesus Only fulfills humankind’s destiny. Our future from a pathway of tears and death will be changed to glory forever and ever.
Amen

Romans 12:6-8 the progression of prophesy new testament time for the church.

Prophesy in verse 6 is direct revelation from God that speaks for God. It has to be remembered that in Hebrews 1 we're told that in times past God spoke to us thru prophets but in this day He speaks to us thru the Son. In a change from the old priesthood and into the new it has been scripturally pointed out that the old has passed away. Always now prophesy is related to Christ and a deeper revelation of Him for the edification of the body. The mind of Christ for His own. There's many passages that anyone can look up for a word study on gaining the mind of Christ. When breaking that down is something that all believers should have if they have truly laid themselves out as a living sacrifice (death to self) and that's just reasonable service. Prediction also can be included in prophesy. In any case it's light shining in the dark.

The next verse 7 relates to teaching, usually that which is revealed prophetically is taught. Teachers then would teach from conviction of the truth of what has been revealed to their hearts as truth according to the Holy Spirit within and always contained in scripture.

The verse following that 8 is exhortation that is based on both of the above. All 3 are used for building the body up in stature leading to the fullness of Christ. And all of them supply life to the saints because of the straight line to the Father thru His Son for the body.

After singling out slaves and exhorting them to be submissive to their masters and patiently endure unjust punishment Peter then moved on to Christian wives who had unsaved husbands. Wives that were seeking to win husbands to the Lord Jesus. They were going about it the wrong way and Peter corrected them in that. Which would mean equality was the norm when both were believers. Those husbands were not people who would listen to reason on hearing the gospel so the best sermon was preached by example. "That even if they obey not the word they may without a word be won" They weren't men who didn't know the gospel. Incompatabilty in religion didn't justify dissolution of marraige so subjection would be a means which God could use to win unbelievers to His way.

The pious living being promoted didn't depend on outer adornment to effect the change like before they were saved so as not to appeal to their husband's depraved nature. Kosmos - adornment - is the opposite of chaos. Her adornment was to be in keeping with her Christian status. One that was fitting and not diverse from one's character. Proceeding from the heart. So as to confront the husband not with the world but with the Savior. i.e.: Not feeding his sin nature but appealing to the conscience. Iow from the inner spiritual being. Romans 12:2

No one can serve 2 masters. The term lord referred to near relatives, father, mother etc while John uses the same Greek word to refer to the 'elect lady' in his epistle. "As long as the believing wives are doing good, they need not be afraid with any sudden terror of the account which their unbelieving husbands may exact from them"

Finding Truth in Line with Convictions/ what is sensitivity in finding God's will?

The first thing to ask in looking at an area of scripture in the new testament and also the old-
'Is there a principal or precept defined in God's Word?'

A precept would be like a speed limit that is enforced. A principal would be a 'drive carefully' sign.
Iow, one is foundational and the other a stepping stone.

Philippians 2:12-13
My dear friends, you have always obeyed God when I was with you. It is even more important that you obey now while I am away from you. Keep on working to complete your salvation with fear and trembling,13 because God is working in you to help you want to do and be able to do what pleases him.

Be sensitive not to miss God's direction on this.

Jude 1:3
Dear friends, I wanted very much to write you about the salvation we all share. But I felt the need to write you about something else: I want to encourage you to fight hard for the faith that was given the holy people of God once and for all time.

Feel the Master's hand and hear His voice within.

Proverbs 15:22
Plans fail without good advice,
but they succeed with the advice of many others.

Seek council and accountability. (personally I find accountability in the age of Philidelphia 1800's theologians to whom Jesus had not a bad word to say)

Romans 8:6
If people's thinking is controlled by the sinful self, there is death. But if their thinking is controlled by the Spirit, there is life and peace.
Philippians 4:6-7
Do not worry about anything, but pray and ask God for everything you need, always giving thanks. And God's peace, which is so great we cannot understand it, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Having the peaceful assurance.

Does my choice glorify God alone? Reflecting on:
-His Holiness
-Righteousness
-Purity
-Kindness
-Truth
-Love
-His life

Colossians 2:8
See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ.

The Noahic Rainbow Promise of Protection

Three primary colors make up the rainbow, red, blue and yellow.
Ezekiel, the throne is blue sapphire stone, the electrum is yellow and the fire is red.

Blue:RIGHTEOUSNESS
Psalms 89:14
Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne;
Mercy and truth go before Your face.
The blue sapphire signifies righteousness. Priests of the tabernacle in the wilderness had a blue line woven into their robes, signifying the continuance of God's promise.

Red: SANCTIFICATION
Isaiah 10:17
And the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame:
Fire signifies the sanctifying, separating, and consuming fire, refering to God's holiness.

Yellow: GLORIFICATION
Hebrews 9:4-6
which had the golden altar of incense and the gold-covered ark of the covenant. This ark contained the gold jar of manna, Aaron's staff that had budded, and the stone tablets of the covenant. Above the ark were the cherubim of the Glory, overshadowing the atonement cover...
Yellow signifies God's glory in the glowing electrum.

The New Jerusalem is a city on a foundation that has the appearance of a rainbow surrounding the eternal God much like the vision of Ezekiel 1; Genesis 9 and corresponds to the culmination of Christian experience contained in the promise. Galatians 4 The anointed will be the fulfillment of God's heart desire began at Hannah's prayer 1 Samuel 1 before the people chose to reject God. A full picture of the complete rainbow surrounding the throne of God in depiction of His faithfulness to the human race. Ezekiel said that this was the appearance of the glory of the Lord.

Revelation 21:19-20
And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.
The city itself has the multi-colouration of the rainbow, just as us Christians have a rainbow effect in bearing God’s testimony and declaring His faithfulness to the whole universe. Within the Christian's testamony is seen righteousness, sanctification and glorification, however dimly reflected, the promise is contained therein.
Revelation 3:12-13
Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
We will bear God’s righteousness, God’s holiness, and God’s glory.
From hence we hear God.

First came the garden then the rainbow

Rain falling on the earth (before early or later rains are even mentioned) was of no use without someone to till the ground of the garden. Tilling the ground is the right to pray for rain, as is having coal applied to the lips in order to be sent, but that's another story. Yet both are qualifyers for the sown seeds to be watered so that God can produce new growth when the earth no longer has the mist from the ground for water. Genesis 2:5-7 shows the interaction between God and humankind. Rain from heaven mingles with the dust of the earth to produce life.

1 Corinthians 3:9
For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

Laws, requirments etc were involved in placement, which was 2. And they were represented as trees that God placed Adam in front of, before the naming of the animals, and then God sat back to see which one would be chosen. Gardens aren't a playground or hospital or school or cathedral. It's a place were things are grown and life is induced. 1 Corinthians 3:9
In Christ is our garden John 1:4, John 14:6, the vine on which to abide from which He tends to our needs of food and clothing.

This is puzzling to me ...

Song of Solomon 8:5-7
Who is this that cometh up from the wilderness, leaning upon her beloved? I raised thee up under the apple tree::cool: there thy mother brought thee forth: there she brought thee forth that bare thee.
Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame.
Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned.

The purpose of the new creation is to furnish the body with a soul. The soul contains self-perception. The work of knowledge is to ascertain a purpose or cause. To what body of believers does she equate with? What is the nature of her nature?

Our choice, have the dross burnt off now or wait till later? I really think that the burning bush not consumed is the picture of His servants that have conquered evil in their own lives. It's a picture we all must keep in mind if we're to endure. Our little blade of grass may be on fire but it is not consumed.

Genesis 48:15-16
And he blessed Joseph, and said, God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac did walk, the God which fed me all my life long unto this day,
The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.

Exodus 3:8
And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

Exodus 3:20-21
And I will stretch out my hand, and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof: and after that he will let you go.
And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty.

Exodus 33:1-3
And the Lord said unto Moses, Depart, and go up hence, thou and the people which thou hast brought up out of the land of Egypt, unto the land which I sware unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, Unto thy seed will I give it:
And I will send an angel before thee; and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite:
Unto a land flowing with milk and honey: for I will not go up in the midst of thee; for thou art a stiffnecked people: lest I consume thee in the way.

Numbers 14:14
And they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land: for they have heard that thou Lord art among this people, that thou Lord art seen face to face, and that thy cloud stands over them, and that thou goest before them, by day time in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by night.

Deuteronomy 1:32-33
Yet in this thing ye did not believe the Lord your God,
Who went in the way before you, to search you out a place to pitch your tents in, in fire by night, to show you by what way ye should go, and in a cloud by day.

Deuteronomy 9:3
Understand therefore this day, that the Lord thy God is he which goeth over before thee; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the Lord hath said unto thee.

Exodus 33:11
And the Lord spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaks unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle.

Exodus 33:22-23
And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:
And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

Exodus 3:1-6
Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.
And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.
And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.
And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.
And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon you stand is holy ground.
Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.

Exodus 3:15
And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, the Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

Malachi 3:1
Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.

Matthew 11:10
For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.

John the Baptist prepare the way

2 Corinthians 5:19
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Romans 8:15
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."

The spirit of bondage is the nature and spirit of satan, the spirit of slavery. The Holy Spirit has set us free into the nature and spirit of God by becoming a part of the family of the Father. Satan's bondage no longer can cause us to fear enslavement because of recieving the adoption.

1 Corinthians 7:22
For he who is called in the Lord while a slave is the Lords freedman. Likewise he who is called while free is Christs slave.
Galatians 4:22
For it is written that Abraham had two sons: the one by a bondwoman, the other by a freewoman.

Outwardly the flesh remains, but inwardly the reality is the opposite. The liberty that we have outwardly is curtailed to conscienceness of His Holiness. While the outer bondage that the world inflicts is liberated inwardly by being in His glorious Presence.
Freedom is for serving Christ, while slavish ceremonies avail nothing to will or heart if the mind is not stayed on Him, Rather they seek to sooth the conscience that His Holiness will be served in that way. His empowerment is freedom of spirit to serve the Living God in a living way.

Hebrews 2:15
and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Christ's new covenent has delivered us from satan's prison by Christ first descending and then ascending. Ephesians 4:8-10 is a fulfillment of the prophesy in Psalm 68:18. There is no more fear of death and we are released from it's slavery.

1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

Perfect Love, like that of our Father's as 1 Corinthians 13 shows, casts out all fear of offendeing Abba when we love in deed and truth. 1 John 3:18

Galatians 4:5-6
to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as His children.
And because you are His children, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!"

God's chosen people had been under custody of the law, which Christ came to fulfill. God gives us His Spirit of Love and Life because we are His children, not because we are lawkeepers. The Spirit of God is the FOCUS of the blessing of God's promise.

Luke 1:74
To grant us that we,
Being delivered from the hand of our enemies,
Might serve Him without fear,

Literally, serve Him as priests.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

The human spirit, regenerated and indwelt by the Holy Spirit, fans the flame of God's gift into a consuming fire in the whole person.
will= of power
mind= of sobermindedness
emotion = of love

The legal side of redemption is what God has done for us in Christ and that’s in the past. Romans 4:25, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Romans 8:1, Colossians 1:14 and is the vital part of what the Holy Spirit is doing in the new creation ... The Way of Christianity. That knowledge alone can leave one cold and lifeless yet once understood the knowledge is one of what belongs to the new creation in Christ. Knowledge of the rightful place of one who belongs to Abba and the privileges that become The Truth by the ministry of the Holy Spirit thru the Word in us.

A little study of the legal side may help in this 2 Corinthians 5:21, Romans 3:21-26, Titus 2:14 into some of the vital facts 2 Corinthians 5:17-18, Ephesians 1:17-23

God has revealed what He’s done for us in the process of building the nature and The Life of the Father into the new creations human spirit. Showing the exceeding greatness of His ability on behalf of those who believe. Colossians 2:15, Galatians 2:20, Romans 6:8, Ephesians 2:6 giving us a living picture of the work of Jesus Christ. Ephesians 1:4-6 We wouldn’t be here reading and studying this if the Father hadn’t drawn us to Himself. Ephesians 3:16-20

The new inner nature has received the Life and Nature of God and now the Holy Spirit is building up thru the Word the ability to walk as Christ did, dwelling on the ground of faith within the newly created heart. Jesus’ crown of thorns earned for the new creation many crowns to strive toward, the righteous glory of life Ephesians 3:20 Which is the power of God in the resurrected life in the new creation. The pleasure that the Father has in His Son finds rest and satisfaction in fitting the new creation into His Purpose.

John 16:13-14
However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.

BUT the mind is a matter of persuasive reasoning “Come, let us reason together”, part of the makeup of human beings. Taking each thought captive to Christ is how we gain the mind of Christ while in the midst of performing our reasonable service Romans 12:1-3. The mind of Christ gained from our reasonable service is a new added benefit not available before the NT covenant.

YET that’s not really knowing God. Knowing God is to come to a full knowledge of Him, Father and Son, in the hope of the glory set before us. John 17:3 And as it’s expressed in love,

THAT is the knowing of Christ Himself. Knowledge that comes from revelation, knowing, the spirit of revelation. Pray for that so as to have the full knowledge of Him. Ephesians 1:17-19 Knowledge that is foundational to a believer, and is quite necessary.

1 Corinthians 5:8
Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
Keeping the feast, the continuous eating of the Lamb that edifies our new creation life, is a nonstop feasting on Christ in sincerity and truth, because after all we are what we eat!
The old leaven is the old creature we once were before believing in Christ with all the sins. Now the need is to feast on Him, Who He is, continually, in sincerity and truth to purge out the old leaven. Jesus gives us the grace to continually feast on Him, thru His Love , His indwelling and in His power. Thank You, Jesus
Revelation 2:17
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.”
Revelation 3:11-13
I’m coming soon. Hold on to what you have so that no one takes your crown. As for those who emerge victorious, I will make them pillars in the temple of my God, and they will never leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the New Jerusalem that comes down out of heaven from my God. I will also write on them my own new name. If you can hear, listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches.”
We feast on Christ every time we think of Him, His Love, His words, His work, His deeds, His care for the poor and every time we act on His commands, which are all His character in action. Never stop feasting on Him.

There are seven beautiful descriptive attributes of God mentioned in the New Testament.
The first was used by Stephen, who called Him "the God of glory" as he gave his defence to the Jewish council just before he was martyred and indeed saw the glory of God Himself as he finished his testimony. Acts of the Apostles 7:55
The apostle Paul later called Him "the God of patience and consolation," while urging his fellow Christians to be "likeminded one toward another" Romans 15:5
In the same chapter, he also called Him "the God of hope" in a benedictory prayer: "Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing" Romans 15:13
To the Christians at Corinth, Paul wrote about "the God of all comfort; Who comforts us in all our tribulation . . ." 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Then later he wrote: that "the God of love" would be with them 2 Corinthians 13:11
To both the Philippians and the Thessalonians, he wrote about "the God of peace" Philippians 4:9
"And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly" I Thessalonians 5:23
The seventh of these beautiful descriptions was written by the apostle Peter.
"But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you" I Peter 5:10

In Bible order these seven beautiful attributes of God (we could call them "titles" of God according to the New Covenant ) are as follows:

He is the God of glory, the God of patience and consolation, the God of hope, the God of all comfort, the God of love, the God of peace, and the God of all grace!

We’ll look into each of these titles ……

Looking into the ‘titles’ of God shows the God of the New Covenant and our God that the new creation is ‘entitled’ to approach 2 Corinthians 5:17 at the throne of Grace thru Jesus Christ our High Priest and the Mediator between us and God. Hebrews 4:6 Having been made like unto us. Acts of the Apostles 17:28, Hebrews 2:14
The veil rend from top to bottom finished the title of God of the old covenant, God’s leaving of the old house Matthew 23:38 to build a new temple of the Body John 2:19, Hebrews 10:20 becoming the new covenant thru His untainted blood, shed for us. Hebrews 8:13, Hebrews 12:24 along with those whose desire was/is for a heavenly country upon whom God looks and is not ashamed to be called their God. Hebrews 11:16

The feast of the "God of Glory"

Acts 7:55-56
But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up to heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. "Look," he said, "I see heaven open and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God."

John 14:2-3
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Psalms 29
Ascribe to the Lord, O heavenly beings,
ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
Ascribe to the Lord the glory of his name;
worship the Lord in holy splendor.
The voice of the Lord is over the waters;
the God of glory thunders,
the Lord, over mighty waters.
The voice of the Lord is powerful;
the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.
The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars;
the Lord breaks the cedars of Lebanon.
He makes Lebanon skip like a calf,
and Sirion like a young wild ox.
The voice of the Lord flashes forth flames of fire.
The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness;
the Lord shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.
The voice of the Lord causes the oaks to whirl,
and strips the forest bare;
and in his temple all say, “Glory!”
The Lord sits enthroned over the flood;
the Lord sits enthroned as king forever.
May the Lord give strength to his people!
May the Lord bless his people with peace!

“Ascribe to the Lord”, here we are called upon to give unto Him, the God of Glory, worship, saying "Glory" in holy splendour. His powerful Voice, full of majesty, speaking to us, shaking our wilderness. Forever our King, giving strength to His people and blessing them with peace.
In Hebrew the root meaning of the word translated “glory” is “heavy” or “weighty.” The idea is that there is no more weighty or significant being in the universe than Yahweh, for He alone truly is majestic and high above all.
The highest glory of the creature is in being only a vessel, to receive and enjoy and show forth the glory of God. It can do this only as it is willing to be nothing in itself, that God may be all. Water always fills first the lowest places. The lower, the emptier a man lies before God, the speedier and the fuller will be the inflow of the divine glory.

God's Glory is the sum total of all His attributes.

John 1:18
No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him.

1 John 4:12
No one has seen God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us.

Psalms 96:7-9
Ascribe to the LORD, O families of the peoples,
Ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.
Ascribe to the LORD the glory of His name;
Bring an offering and come into His courts.
Worship the LORD in holy attire;
Tremble before Him, all the earth.

Psalms 68:33
To Him who rides upon the highest heavens, which are from ancient times;
Behold, He speaks forth with His voice, a mighty voice.

Psalms 26:8
O LORD, I love the habitation of Your house
And the place where Your glory dwells.

Psalm 68:35
O God, You are awesome from Your sanctuary
The God of Israel Himself gives strength and power to the people
Blessed be God!

Matthew 16:27
For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.

Ephesians 1:17-19
that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power

Colossians 1:27
To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Revelation 21:22-24
But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light. And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honour into it.
Like living stones, let yourselves be built into a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. For it is in the righteousness of God, revealed through faith for faith; as it is written, “in a very little while, the one who is coming will come and will not delay: but my righteous one will live by faith. My soul takes no pleasure in anyone who shrinks back.” But we are not among those who shrink back and so are lost, but among those who have faith and so are saved. Glory be to God.

When Jesus died He died as the last God-accepted lamb of the Old Covenant. Then when Christ arose He arose in the new order as High Priest of the New Covenant.

To the God of Consolation
Romans 15:1-5,
... Christ did not please Himself; but, as it is written, “The insults of those who insult You have fallen on Me.” ..... that by steadfastness and by the encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope. May the God of steadfastness and encouragement grant you to live in harmony with one another, in accordance with Christ Jesus.
Psalms 69:9

Taking an example of patience from God: that both the weak and the strong, serving God with a mutual consent, may bring one another to God, as Christ also received believers to Himself, without walls of double-mindedness in which one would live half in God's truth and half in satan's lies., but according to Christ Jesus;
according to the doctrine of Christ, which teaches, directs, and engages, as to sameness of judgment and practice, so to mutual love and affection;
and according to the new commandment of Christ, which obliges one to love the other;
and according to the example of Christ, who is the great pattern of patience and forbearance, of meekness and humility, of condescension and goodness, and of equal love and affection to all His members.

Christ is the pattern of walking in single-mindedness of mutual love, spirit and unity. What God does not condemn, neither should we.
"Behold, how these Christians love one another!" was the amazed but constant testimony of paganism, of Judaism also, regarding believers in the early days of the Church. And this Spirit-wrought unity and tender affection is by far the greatest need amongst believers today.

"By this," Jesus said, "shall people everywhere know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another"

In answer to the heart-felt persistent cry of God's people the saints are being drawn more and more by His Word into the true fellowship of the Holy Spirit! Believers in one voice are glorifying the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The expressed desire of Romans 15:5, that the God of patience and of comfort grant you to be of the same mind one with another according to Christ Jesus, doesn't have reference to opinions or views of doctrines, but does have reference to gracious dispositions of spirit; for God is not spoken of here as the God of wisdom and knowledge, but as the God of patience and of comfort. It’s God's acting in these blessed graces toward the saints that will enable them to be "of one mind together according to Christ Jesus."

When the Spirit of God is freely operating among a company of believers, the eyes of one and all are first toward Christ Jesus. They are thinking of Him, of His love, of His service, and of what will please Him. They are conscious of their blessed place in Him. Then follows naturally patient dealing with one another, comforting one another, in their conscious-unity in Christ to be with one mind together according to Christ Jesus.

1 Corinthians 13
Love is patient;
love is kind;
love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude.
It does not insist on its own way;
it is not irritable or resentful;
it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth.
It bears all things,
believes all things,
hopes all things,
endures all things.
Love never ends.
