Sabbath from eternity... The Sabbath was established at creation before sin and was therefore part of God’s perfect plan from the very beginning. God also blessed and sanctified this day for Holy use at creation.
All I am going by is what the written law says concerning Adam, Cain and Abel etc.

Should you be looking for looking holes, this would work for you. Should you be looking for the consistency of God, this would be abbreviation, which can not be. Just because it was not written in the accepted books of the bible doesn't mean it didn't exist, aka Book of Jubilees.

Like I said, I am going by what scripture says, concerning Adam, etc. No big deal.

First of all I think the subject matter has gone off topic.
I gave you scripture which says
Ge 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
Ge 5:29 And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.
According to scripture there was no comfort from their toil of the cursed ground until Noah. Therefore, If Enoch remained until Noah then perhaps he did.
Enoch was taken away before Noah was born, Genesis 5:23, just admit it you were wrong. There remains a Sabbath rest for the people of G-d.

?????????. I do not understand how you have reached your conclusion. Enoch and his relationship to God, does not change the prophetic utterance concerning Noah. Blessings to you.

The Sabbath Rest still remains for the people of YHWH, right ?
Even though Israel did not enter that rest , or did they?
Just honoring the Sabbath did not guarantee that they would enter the Promised Land, right ? (since many did not) So the Sabbath Keeping, honoring YHWH'S 7th Day Sabbath, did not mean they entered into His Rest, did it ? Those don't appear to be the same thing (the physical keeping, and the spiritual rest).

So ?
What does that have to do with the rest ?
It has to do with the toiling to eat. they did not rest from that toil until Noah.... That is what I have been saying...
Ge 3:17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;.
So there was no day of rest ( Sabbath 7th day rest, for Adam, until after the flood. All food for man at that time came from the ground.

That is twisted. Sabbath was not an issue in that all knew and kept it, until Babylon tower... where it had to be brought up as an issue... Because Nimrod was twisting things to change worship to him.

I did? What was she calling twisted then?
She was calling the ARGUMENT twisted that this verse can be used to prove they did not observe the Shabbat at that time. BTW I agree with you. I'm just saying she wasn't calling the scripture twisted, but your interpretation. A good response to her would be, "I'm not twisting the scriptures. Let's look at it again even more closely, and if you want, you can PINPOINT where you think this is mistaken." Then go phrase by phrase and try to pin her down.

I quoted the scripture, "all the days of thy life". That was why I said what I said. It should be enough to pin someone down, to at least pause, IMO. I do not desire to argue that hard over what is plainly said in scripture, especially when they simply interject their own opinions upon (less or no) scripture. Maybe some come here for that, not me. I just let it go O.H.

What does "Thy life" mean? Did it pertain only to Adam and Cain?

Whose life is YHWH referring? Why is an exception made for Noah? Abel never toiled with the soil, he had a different occupation, keeper of sheep. Again who was YHWH talking about when He says all of thy days?

Occupation? What has that to do with a person having to eat?

The phrase toil in the soil simply refers to having to work hard and take our sustenance from our labor. The words were written during the neolithic revolution, when farming was being developed for the first time, so everyone worked out in the fields at harvest. Today we toil as plumbers, programmers, mechanics, secretaries, lawyers, doctors, etc. The money we make goes to buy food grown from the earth, thus we are supporting the farmers, indirectly helping their labor as well as laboring ourselves. Thus, Abel also was cursed with toiling.
