Sex Lessons From a Russian Jew?

I've not encountered a flirt in decades. But men talk trash almost daily.

The thought I'm having is if you all have read this sticky at the front of the forum??

You must read and agree before posting in this forum

None of the men that I hang around trash talk, perhaps that is just me though.

Men who are pigs have lots of excuses to be pigs. The two main excuses for acting like pigs are:
1. All women are flirts (therefore they deserve it).
2. All men are pigs (therefore I'm no different than anyone else).

That's definitely a sad worldly secular view and NOT "an important lesson on sex" from a Biblical Jewish/Messianic/Christian perspective. Were you a Christian when a teenager in Wisconsin?

The standard that is or should be the goal of every believer is above flirtatious behavior and acting like pigs. If on this path, the people here also association with others who are on the same path of righteousness and also do not act in this manner. It is part of which makes us peculiar.

The pigs part is entirely unkosher. <duh>

But, as much as I detest flirting, (and have since jr high school) I have seen it be effective in finding a spouse.

So if we grow beyond all flirtation, there may be a lot more lonely and frustrated singles.

I think he had sense of humour ,but I object to the ALL .There is always the one that breaks the rule ..While généralisations are generally true ,we must remember ,only generally .

But that's what a generalization is. We know when someone makes a generalization that automatically they are admitting there are exceptions. If they use the word "all" then that's not a generalization, that's an absolute statement -- it's almost always wrong. But there is nothing wrong with making generalizations. Human beings do very well by making generalizations -- they are very practical.

I think it is funny when a man flirts with me. I see through the flirt as it is superficial and meaningless of any sincerity. How is that for a generalization.

Men don't flirt with me that often (or at least I don't notice it), so when they do I enjoy it--I do think men are wonderful. So long as it doesn't get creepy. I just don't let it get past the beginning stages, though. I don't let them get the idea that it's going to go anywhere. That wouldn't be fair.

Seems like most here on MJ forum have no sense of humor.

When I see a guy flirting with any female, I want to take a 2x4 and beat him unconscious. But I do not recognize when women or girls flirt. It is more subtle and I totally miss it. Usually someone has to tell me what is happening. Embarrassing when it is your wife that says "She was totally flirting with you..." and I did not have a clue.
