ah...nintendo will never take over the rpg business. square is the king of rpgs, and psx has them.
Close, but no cigar. You want Square? Looks like theyre eyeing Nintendos Game Cube up and down:

game cube is only good for cute games...
I guess you havent played the exclusive Resident Evils found only on GameCube (i.e. the original Resident Evil remake that has things changed around & has some of the best graphics out of any consoles, as well as Resident Evil 0). Perhaps 5 years ago, Nintendo was all kiddie, however theyve changed due to the competition theyre facing, and seem to be on the same playing field as Microsoft or Sony.
in my opinion, n64 is kinda boring. i hate the 3d junk...and the system barely has any GREAT games.
Didnt like Zelda, Perfect Dark, Goldeneye, Mario Party, Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart, F-Zero X, or Jet Force Gemini? Wow, it would appear youre very hard to please.
The gamecube has cornered the market in kiddie games and is now having trouble breaking out of that stigma... it even looks kiddie-like.... like a piece of the background scenery you'd find in Mario or something.
Again, I think people who really havent taken a real look at the GameCube library of games would say this. Resident Evil games (that kick the tar out of any of the competing systems versions), Bloodrain, some James Bond games, Devil May Cry, Medal of Honor, etc. Those are just some that are lying just at the top of my head here.
Plus there's Resident Evil (I know it's not very Christian but it gives me quite a rush).
Ive become a big Resident Evil fan myself, having beaten both Resident Evil games on the GameCube & at least watched all the others played from beginning to end by my brother (except for Survivor, which I hear was sorry anyway). I think video games are similar, if not identical, to movies: If they cause you to stumble spiritually, dont spend your time and money on them. However, if not, theres no harm, but only enjoyment.
As for me, I'm going GameCube all the way. In my college dorm room, I have all three consoles (Playstation 2, XBox, and GameCube), as well as two computers with games on them, and for the latest & most advanced games, I turn to nothing else by my GameCube for satisfaction.
