Hi, Anthony! Yes, all very good!

It's good for God to speak to us from His Word! :) He is indeed ready to hear the cries of those who trust Him; we also must be ready to listen to His Word. :)

Jewelry and bodyart can also be absorbing. While I haven't worn earrings for years, the first rings seem to come on the scene sometime before first ink which is often at 18. At Christmas, earrings -some are hand made - make a great gift for both genders, regularly.
Hand made jewelry would be an awesome gift I'm sure, and fun to make. I enjoy seeing things made with the star of David.

I enjoy designing and making useful things that aren't available or don't meet my needs. Among these are,

A bow sight.
Tree stand and ladders.
Binocular/video camera bracket.
Lawn leaf cart.
Garden cart.
Bird feeders.
Weedless fish hooks.
Deer target.
Racks for firewood.
Monopod for camera.
And my workshop benches and tables, sawdust collection and air filtration system.

I hope to build a large dining table this winter.

This is one of my "North Woods" feeders, "Cabin" model.

Nice. You and my husband would get along well, I think. :)

Interesting; so have you uploaded any examples of your photography? or maybe it's copyright...

No, I have no uploads to share. Some of my favorites were done on B&W film I printed and mounted in my darkroom. I've made the switch to digital, but I don't care so much for my digital work. And, I sure miss the smell of photo chemicals.

I enjoy my photography, but I'm unsure others would.

Hiking? this sounds healthy and interesting; did you ever consider one of the great hiking paths such as the Appalachian Trail or New Zealand's Milford Track?

Yes, it's been a life's dream of mine to hike the AT. I've probably read about every good book about it that's ever been written. Alas, the time commitment required is daunting and doesn't fit with my work life. I've fantasized trying it after retirement, health permitting.

The Appalachians even stretch up here as far as Quebec! "les Appalaches"...
