You can start a new account and not use your name this time. CF.com has a lot of traffic so any search for your name would pop right to the top of search listings. Or you can ask a moderator to change your profile.

You should know by now our foe still enrages flesh in these times and uses all those carnal response mechanisms to his advantage. Not the least of which are convoluted defenses from their own lack. I too am dealing with this and misguided flesh and blood, Christian or not is ill-equipped to fend off light. Especially true when that someone has their lives under the blood of Christ.


Lord, do bring aid and relief to our sister here in Jesus name!

I also recommend that you request a change to your username and delete previous posts if possible.

I would like to tell you that we can't change toxic people. We can't make our family members like us. What we can do is strive to obey Christ (to forgive others, to be slow to anger, to give soft answers, to avoid arguing, etc.).

I came from a dysfunctional family and finally moved away. I prayed for those members who constantly criticized me and did other things to make my life miserable; I didn't pray for anything bad to happen to them. I prayed that they wouldn't interfere in my life.

Ephesians 4

Abandon this 'username' and account.
Open a new account with a diffrent 'user name' and make use of the forum to debate and exchanges ideas etc.
Do continue to offer love to your family even though they don't want it. Time heals most wounds so give them and yourself time to heal.
